Luckily, two grocery stores in Lahaina and their shopping complexes, Safeway and Foodland Farms, survived the fire and are just a 10-minute drive away. Additionally, Maui's best Hula show, the Old Lahaina Lua, and four excellent restaurants – Ocean Tavern, Mala’s, Aloha Mixed Plate, and Star Noodle – located on the oceanside behind the Safeway Shopping Center, also survived.
