On the 2nd floor, this 1 bedroom/2 bath condo is beachfront on spectacular and serene Sugar Beach in North Kihei, Maui. Beautiful tile flooring throughout and an impressive granite & stainless-steel full kitchen set you up for a smooth and relaxing stay. Prep dinner in the kitchen then finish at the property’s gas grills. You will enjoy talking story (as the locals say) with fellow guests to share your Maui adventures and get tips on where to go next. Life couldn’t be more pleasant and relaxing than this! There is central A/C. This unit’s bedroom has an en-suite full bathroom and a king bed. A second bathroom (walk-in shower) and sleeper sofa allow for 4 guests to be very comfortable. Flat screen TV with complimentary cable, WiFi and local phone; central AC and ceiling fans. Coin-operated laundries on the 3rd & 5th floors near the elevator are convenient. The resort itself is a real gem. Nestled into a quiet and safe community, the vibe here is one of low-key local that lets you know you are in an authentic place, not some theme-resort. Centrally located in North Kihei, Kihei Beach Resort is a favorite of return travelers. From here you can venture forth with low commute times (15-45 minutes) to enjoy most of the awesome adventures and attractions Maui has to offer. Two long & winding roads - one to the summit of Haleakala & the other through the rainforest heading to eastside Hana. These are longer treks to places remote, but places not to be missed if one can help it. On days you want to stay close to base, stroll the (almost empty) 3 mile stretch of white-sand shoreline north to Ma’alaea. The resort’s 1.3-acre grounds tempt you to stay and relax by the pool, sunbathe on the beach or claim a lounge chair under a palm tree and read a book. From the grounds & pool you have panoramic, nothing peek-a-boo-about-them coastline views that extend south to the Makena cinder cone, sweep out across the water past Molokini Crater. Neighbor islands Kahoolawe, Lanai and then north to Maalaea Bay with its backdrop of stark white windmills marching up the sharp ridges of the West Maui Mountains. During high season (Dec-April) humpback whales (mamas, babies, and guardian males) find shelter in Maalaea Bay; watching them breach is always thrilling. The condo had everything you need. Beach is right there and we enjoyed taking walks on it. The property has a great view of the sunsets. Don’t forget the bake shop across the street!

We had a great time in this unit. The view off the lanai is amazing - we really enjoyed spending our mornings watching the whales. The location is great - we had breakfast from the Sugar Beach Bake Shop, right across the street every morning and that was a highlight. We had one issue with a broken handle on the sliding door and it got fixed right away with no hassle for us whatsoever. It was a great time in this unit.

Been to Maui a few times, but this was the first time we got a condo rather than the usual resort. It was perfect for us four! The oceanfront setting and view cannot be beat. The central location is darn near perfect - 20 mins from the airport and north shore, close to the Kihei amenities without being in the middle of the action. Condo itself is in very good condition, very clean, nice kitchen. Minor nitpicks are the A/C which seems a little underpowered - but plenty of ceiling and floor fans to keep things comfortable. Also, like others we noticed the dining area is a bit dark and could use an overhead fixture. But other than that - we had a great, stress-free time!

Kihei is a beautiful place to stay at. The Condo is spacious, has amazing views and has everything you need for a vacation rental. Clean and well stocked. Ample parking space. The location is oceanfront, farmers market is across the street , convenience store is few steps away. We loved our stay here, will definitely come back.

What a beautiful stay we had!! Great location, great view, great apt!! Everything we need was in the apt, all the kitchen supplies, beach chairs, an umbrella and a cooler!! As soon as you enter the place, you see the ocean that immediately makes you relaxed. We opened the master bed door to sleep to the sound of the ocean. In the morning, you can get local vegs and fruits just a cross the street. We eat pretty much every meals on the balcony. We will def come back!! Thank you for making our trip so special!!
