Beachfront condo #202 is a nicely upgraded 2 bedroom/2 bath unit on the 2nd floor of building 2. There is central A/C throughout. The interior is clean and bright with beautiful furnishings and a gorgeous new kitchen. As you prepare a fresh, locally sourced meal for dining on your private lanai, you can gaze out at the incredible blue Pacific and forget all your cares. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, a lovely king bed, and a large window for more spectacular sweeping ocean views. The second bedroom has twin beds and its own bathroom, while the living area has a sleeper sofa that makes this unit suitable for up to 6 guests. Flat screen TV with complimentary cable, WiFi, and local phone to keep you connected and entertained; central AC and ceiling fans to keep you cool. The views are stunning enough to knock your socks off, if you were wearing any. (But why would you be, Maui is flip-flop and bare-feet territory!) The resort itself is a real gem. Nestled into a quiet, safe community, the vibe here is one of low-key local that lets you know you are in an authentic place, not some theme resort. Centrally located in North Kihei on the shores of Sugar Beach, Kihei Beach Resort is a favorite of return travelers. From here you can venture forth with low commute times (15-45 minutes) to enjoy most of the awesome adventures and attractions Maui has to offer. Two long & winding roads, one to the summit of Haleakala & the other through the rainforest heading to eastside Hana. These are much longer treks to places remote, actually; but places not to be missed if one can help it. On days you want to stay close to base, stroll the (almost empty) 3-mile stretch of white-sand shoreline known as Sugar Beach. The resort’s 1.3-acre grounds tempt you to stay and relax by the pool, sunbathe on the beach, or grab a lounge chair under a palm tree and read a book. This is a great Condo to stay in. We were there for a month. Its close to everything. Easy driving anywhere from this location.The King bed is probably one of the most comfy we have ever slept in. Lots of towels, and had all the beach accessories, chairs, umbrella, coolers ect. Grass area and pool kept very organized and clean. Couple items I think need to be updated. Condo has a icemaker in the freezer but it's broken. Making ice everyday is a pain and the ice trays had holes so made the freezer icy. The oven/stove is very old. Took over 25 minutes for the oven to heat up. The stove has been wiped down so many time you can't see any numbers so you don't know if you are on high or low for the burners. There were no cleaning products at all in the condo. I called and left a message with the management company but never heard back from them. Overall experience was very positive and would stay at this location again.

We loved our stay here. Centrally located on the island. Easy to find golf courses. Shopping. Site seeing. And beaches! Kitchen has everything you may need to prepare meals. Great size for our family of 4. Comfy beds. Amazing view. Lots of birds and geckos to watch. We loved it.

We loved our stay here. Centrally located on the island. Easy to find golf courses. Shopping. Site seeing. And beaches! Kitchen has everything you may need to prepare meals. Great size for our family of 4. Comfy beds. Amazing view. Lots of birds and geckos to watch. We loved it.

We loved this condo! It was very clean and well stocked. Everything worked the way that it should. The views were incredible and it did not feel crowded at the resort. We also loved the central location on the island. We would definitely recommend this and come back to it!

This condo was centrally located and served us well for our stay. The condo A/C had some issues. The management company worked with us to accommodate the issue and provided remedies. The water at this location is not clear. That was disappointing but a short drive north or south revealed the clear turquoise waters that are associated with Maui.

Have stayed at Kihei Beach Resort multiple times. Love this location, all condos are ocean front. Condo vary in decor as each are individually own.

This kitchen has a really bad ant issue. We had to buy extra ant traps and avoided cooking or using the dishwasher because of the ant issue, we have been to Maui 10 times and have never had this issue anywhere else we have stayed. The dishwasher was apparently broken and the management blamed us even though we never used it.
I would choose somewhere else to stay, the beach here is okay but there are much more beautiful blue water beaches on other parts of the island, further south and also further north. The pool is also just okay, cold and no hot tub.
