Imagine arriving in Hawaii and pulling up to your own private home with ocean views from every bedroom! This spacious home is located in a beautiful upscale neighborhood and has a private, heated pool, and a huge lanai with one of the best sunset views in Kona.
This home easily accommodates 3-4 couples or 1-2 families and much more affordable and convenient than a nice hotel. It is also baby-friendly, with 2 play-pens, sliding door locks and staircase gate.
Because of its location and elevation (615 ft), you not only get the amazing panoramic ocean views, but also island breezes flowing through the home ensuring fresh air and comfortable temperatures. Conveniently located, you are a short drive (5-10 minutes) from all of the action in downtown Kona, Alii drive and beaches, whale watching adventures and golf resorts, and only 15-20 minutes from the airport.
The main floor of the home offers a large kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry room and 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom with a California King size bed, large bathroom, walk-in closet, and opens onto the outdoor lanai. A second bedroom upstairs has a Queen bed and large bathroom across the hall, and also opens up to the lanai.
The lower level includes two bedrooms that access the pool deck. One has 2 Queen beds and the other has a California King and family room with couch and recliner and TV. There's also an additional full bathroom downstairs, conveniently located between the bedrooms.
Elegant furnishings and decorated Hawaiian style (upgraded since our last photos), this spacious home has an open floor plan with high ceilings, large rooms, and two living/family room areas. The kitchen has a counter height table set for 4, center island, stainless steel appliances and is large enough for sharing quality time while the group chef whips up a meal! Extra details are included, such as Reverse Osmosis filtered drinking water, Air Fryer.
Outside, enjoy the incredible manicured landscaping with beautiful tropical plants and flowers (several Plumerias for Hawaiian leis).
The heated pool is an amazing mild saline pool (read more about it on our website, linked below). The large pool deck offers both seating and table arrangements for sunbathing or sitting in the shade under covered areas and lounging, watching the kids swim, or reading a book. It is the perfect place to have fun with your friends and family and also relax, or fire up the BBQ.
According to guests, the lanai is definitely one of the best features of the house. It has 4 different seating arrangements, is covered, and has comfortable temperatures 24 hours a day ~ never too hot or cold. Wake up with your morning coffee while reclining in the lounger and bird watching. We even have a bird book so you can identify the countless varieties. Enjoy your lunch at the bistro table, or create a cozy, romantic dinner at the table for two while watching the sunset.
Sunsets are absolutely amazing with the 180-degree views of the Pacific Ocean! We include binoculars for whale watching from the lanai. You can also see surfers at the Big Island's most popular surfing spot!

We had a wonderful stay on the Big Island! The house was very tidy and had all the amenities we needed for our large family. We loved watching the sunset each evening from the upper lanai. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The house is the perfect location to beaches and town. Jon and Jackie were very responsiveness and helpful!

This home is amazing! It has everything you need plus more! It is located in a peaceful and beautiful neighborhood. The kitchen has everything you need to cook! The beds and pillows are comfortable. The view is amazing and it was hard to leave the refreshing pool. Do not miss the sunsets! Each night was more beautiful than the next. The hosts are very kind and thoughtful. Too notch vacation home!

Our host thought of everything. The house was very well organized, from the snorkel equipment and boogie boards to the fully equipped kitchen with everything one could need. It is genuinely a home organized with the traveler in mind. The lanai encompassed the width of the house and was the perfect place to be for coffee and sunsets.

Not only was this house beautiful, it was very clean, homey and had all the amenities we needed. The owners, Jon and Jackie, are simply amazing. They were receptive and did an outstanding job making sure we felt welcome and well taken care of. The peaceful setting of their house and backyard made our “downtime” even that much more amazing. Loved everything about the rental. Manager communication, location, view, amenities, pool, house format. As the manager states, the driveway is a bit steep but that was not an issue for us. Our kids loved the lizards in the volcanic walls. Everything we came up with a need for was already there. It was a very relaxing week, as Hawaii should be.

So many extras that made us feel at home. Having the beach umbrellas, chairs and cooler was a huge plus for our afternoons at the beach! The home was very clean, and we appreciated the owners checking in to ensure we didn't need anything. Highly recommend this home and we hope to return!

We have traveled numerous times to Maui and Kauai, however this was our first stay on the Big Island of Hawaii. Our choice of stay could not have been any better. We were a family of 8 with 3 young children and the home was more than spacious enough to accommodate our needs. The location was ideal and the view from the lanai and pool deck was spectacular. The kitchen is very well equipped and since we ate in most nights suited our needs. We have stayed in many VRBO's and this by far was the cleanest and most equipped. We've visited the Big Island many times over the years and this has to be one of our favorite vacation rentals we've enjoyed. The house was a perfect layout for our family of four + grandparents and brother-in-law. We all had our separate spaces, but could easily gather in the main living/dining area and spend time on the amazing deck with the stunning views of Kona and the ocean.
My kids loved the heated pool - and the owners supplied so many great pool toys and floats for them to enjoy. The kitchen is one of the most fully stocked rental kitchens I've ever used - so many dishes and options for cooking. We made many of our meals and felt at home here.
The location is ideal - quiet and private, but very close to town. We were within easy reach of our favorite beaches and snorkel locations.
Our hosts were communicative and helpful and we absolutely plan to come back someday!

The house was incredible! Our group of 5 of us spent 5 nights here as we were playing in a golf tournament in Kona. The house was exactly as described in the description and there is nothing at all that wasn't perfect. The kitchen was incredibly stocked with all of the supplies you could need to cook. Tons of spices and dressings left in the fridge. The ice make was full and we had everything we needed.
The hosts had all kinds of beach toys, towels, and a book by the front door with instructions for everything.
Can not recommend this house highly enough!
