    Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. A Minor recommendation- lanai chairs had comfortable cushions but lacked arms. All lanai chairs need arms

    This is our third stay at Kamaole Sands and is by far our favorite unit. The two bedrooms is a must with a little one and the abundance in beach gear was a great surprise. I would highly recommend this unit for a small family - it is everything you need and more. We’ll definitely be coming back here when we visit next.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second stay at Kamaole Sands through PMI and we wish we could book next year again if finances weren’t a limiting factor. Kamaole Sands is THE prime property in Kihei. We had several friends visiting (4 different families) at the same time as us and all of them commented how they wish they were at Kam Sands. The property ground is gorgeously maintained and proximity to the best beach in Kihei is a quick and safe 3 min walk. The condo itself is well-equipped with every kitchen appliance you could want, comfortable beds, and lovely decor. We’ve never used the TVs but they are big. Both trips we have stayed in building 5 in ground floor units that open onto a flat manicured lawn for our preschooler to safely play, mere steps to the pool, and with peek-a-boo views of the ocean. If you get up early in the morning when your neighbors are still asleep you can actually hear the surf break the shore from the lanai. With that said, even when your neighbors are awake it is unlikely you’ll hear them inside or outside the condo (from the two units we stayed in bldg 5). As for PMI Maui managing agency, they are professional and QUICK to respond to any concerns or questions. Last year I made a comment to them about how I prefer hotter water temperatures and within hours they had a plumber on site to crank up the water heater. This year our beach buggy broke so we opted for the pool. When we returned from the pool a short while later we found a brand new beach buggy waiting for us. When we travel to Hawaii we go as a three generation family of five ranging in age from 3-75 and everyone loves it. The amenities accommodate a wide range of interests and preferences. I would choose PMI in the future without hesitation.
