Kona Makai 3-203 is a beautifully appointed 2nd floor condo with a partial ocean view. This condo is fully equipped with everything you may need for your Vacation! Your own private Wifi network available for use as well! Air Conditioning is in the bedroom & living room for your comfort! Cal-King sized bed in the bedroom. The bathroom has been remodeled, complete with a wonderful walk in shower!
Building 3 is especially great because of the positioning of the 2nd private lanai. It's much cooler than any other building in the complex!


The Kona Makai is a beautiful sunny highly sought after Ocean Front Complex located on famous Alii Drive just 1.3 miles from Kailua Village. The Kona Makai features include lush tropical gardens, ocean front pool and spa, sunny lounge area, 2 work out rooms, eating area w/ gas BBQ’s, tennis courts, covered parking, free wireless internet, cable TV and is gated during the night for security.

From the moment I drove onto the property I was very impressed. The grounds are so lush and tropical and clean. I enjoyed the walk down to the unit that I rented it was an unbelievably beautiful walkway. The condo had everything I needed and more and I highly recommend staying here. And the property management company was exceptional so kind and so helpful.

My Husband and I stayed for 10 days at this property. The condo is a bit dated, but offered everything we needed. Beach stuff was included, which is a must for us. The grounds are very well manicured and the view of the sunset is perfect. The property managers were super good to deal with and answered and resolved any inquiries we had.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Generally very pleasant. Good location and property. Well laid out. Two minor things for the mgmt company vs Airbnb or vrbo experiences; too few consumables for longer stays (tp, paper towel, trash bags, etc) as these are not available in the small quantities needed, and paperwork is way over the top in your rental process.

We will definitely stay here again. Much less expensive than a hotel plus we had a kitchen complete with everything you’d need! Had a living room with a TV…that actually had Netflix and Hulu. Other things included beach towels and chairs, boogie boards, ice chests… you name it, they had it! A big plus was a washer and dryer!
