The Hale Alana Vacation Home is a beautiful, spacious, Polynesian style home with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, two of which are primary bedroom suites. This lovely vacation rental is situated on a 1/2 acre tropical estate, with a spectacular lava rock pool and waterfall. From nearly every room of the house and from the 72’ deck you have totally unobstructed views of the ocean, several islands, and glorious sunsets. You can even spot the whales during their annual visit from December to April. Hale Alana has central A/C, four color TV’s, DVD and Bose bluetooth speaker, a fully equipped kitchen, open dining room, sunken living room, breakfast bar, laundry room, outdoor shower and a two-car garage. Beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear and boogie boards available.
The main outdoor features are the Lava pools (not heated) and waterfall, nestled in tropical gardens. There is of course a BBQ on the lanai for your evening entertainment as you savor the warmth and views in this stunning setting.
Hale Alana is a fully permitted vacation home situated in the residential neighborhood of Maui Meadows, Just a ten minutes drive from the beaches of South Maui, which are considered by many the most beautiful in the world. With our year-round tropical climate you can easily take advantage of the many recreational activities that Maui has to offer: snorkeling, hiking, tennis, golf, bike riding, local and international culture and cuisine. You also have quick access to some of the island’s best hotels, restaurants, and shopping, all in the Wailea/Kihei area.
Pools accessed at bottom of driveway. A legal tenant cottage, occupied by the property manager, is situated at the bottom of the property per Maui County Law. Garden/Pools are solely for the use of the house guests and property manager.

There could not be a better house with a better view The yard itself is breathtaking The pictures are perfect on this site Martha was very attentive a came to our every need . Very clean place and kitchen has every appliance and utensils you could want. The concierge Martha referred us to was Dona and she booked everything for us. Thank you

We had an amazing time at this vacation rental! Right from the start, we were blown away by how clean, spacious, and well-equipped the house was. It looked just like the photos and description on VRBO. The kitchen had everything we needed to whip up our meals, and the living areas were perfect for the whole family. The deck with the hot tub was a fantastic way to unwind after a long day at the beach, and the sunset views were just incredible. We even caught some fireworks from the Grand Wailea resort! Plus, the location was super convenient, with stores, coffee shops, and one of the best beaches we've ever visited, Makena, just a stone's throw away.Martha, our host, was so attentive and thoughtful, giving us clear instructions and quick replies to any questions we had. It really felt like a home away from home, and we couldn't have asked for a better vacation. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!

We had the best time staying here and made lifelong memories with our kids. Such a unique house, the layout was perfect with the two masters and kids room for our family. The view was incredible from just about any room in the house including the hot tub. Our favorite feature was the custom mushroom shaped pool, we spent countless hours swimming and the water was the perfect temperature, not cold at all!
Martha and Ben were great hosts, very friendly and gave us so many recommendations for entertainment and restaurants that made our trip even better. Looking forward to coming back! Mahalo!

Martha was so nice to replace our beach umbrella after the wind took it out. This is such a beautiful home. The sunset beach views and the late night star gazing from the lanai is incredible. Our hostess was awesome. She have us all the local top things to do and places to see. We really enjoyed the backyard pool and the quiet, serene neighborhood. We will definitely be back!

I’ve stayed in a lot of rental houses over the years & have had really good luck finding great places. But, I have to say, this one tops them all. First off, the house is beautiful, spotless, and meticulously maintained. It sits on a hill at the north edge of Wailea overlooking a perfectly manicured back yard, a stunning pool, and a wide expanse of ocean, islands, and sunset.It’s a very short trip down the hill to a fun & lively area of Kihei, full of casual bars & restaurants. It’s an even shorter trip to the resort area of Wailea & all of its amenities. And the beaches - well, just pick one. They’re all right there. Depending on what vibe you like, it’s within 5-10 minutes from the front door.The on-site manager is kind, responsive, and available if you need her.I highly recommend this rental & am looking forward to returning soon.

This rental is just fabulous. To start, the location is great- very close to South Maui Gardens, restaurants and many lovely beaches. The house is spacious, comfortable and super clean. The bathrooms are very nice, especially the 2 towards the back side of the house. The hot tub is perfect and the view is breathtaking. We especially loved watching the amazing sun sets from there! The real highlight for us as we have 3 kids was the pool. It, and the entire backyard area, is a haven of peace and luxury. The pictures simply don't do it justice. We swam daily, and really loved the waterfall feature (runs 9am to 4pm) , the tropical plants, the statues, and the pool equipment provided.The air conditioning works really well and the beds were comfortable. The house is fully, even more than fully, equipped with first aid, kitchen supplies, reef safe sunscreen, and ALL of the beach equipment you may need. There is a whole closet of it in the garage. The property managers are responsive and helpful. We had everything we needed and more. This property is expensive for a reason- we found it to be 100% worth it.

I was so excited to find this property when looking for places to stay on Maui and it absolutely did not disappoint. It’s well stocked with everything you may need, whether you’re hanging around the house (like I did) or looking to go to the nearby beaches.
Sweeping ocean views with spectacular sunsets are the highlight. I spent my mornings on the Lanai watching the boats and the afternoons by the pool, either cooling off in the water or in the shade on the deck.
Martha was a great host, checking in to make sure our stay was satisfactory but also providing some personal touches since I was celebrating a milestone birthday.
This is a truly fantastic property, so glad we were able to find it. It made for 5 nights in Paradise! If you’re on the fence, don’t be. Book it.

One of the most beautiful and comfortable vacation homes, Hale Alana affords spectacular views in an accessible and yet private location. Every imaginable amenity is provided in a house which easily accommodates six people. We enjoyed being close to Wailea, great golf, spectacular beaches, whale watching and snorkeling cruises, and excellent restaurants while being able to reach Maui upcountry within a short drive. Hale Alana is expertly managed by Martha and Ben, who ensured we had everything we needed for a terrific family vacation.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful property. The home was clean and tidy, the rooms and beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything needed in order to cook meals at home with the family. The garden is spectacular and allows for peaceful hang outs by the lava rock pool. We enjoyed the ocean view while relaxing in the hot tub on the lanai and watching the sunsets every night. Keawakapu beach is a 7 min drive away and the home had all the beach supplies including lots of towels and beach chairs needed for a day out. Martha was amazing and responsive and checked in with us to ensure we had everything that we needed. Highly recommend!

Our family of 6 adults stayed 7 nights at Hale Alana for a special Birthday! The home and grounds were immaculate. There was plenty of room for everyone to gather together or have some privacy. The outdoor space and views were fabulous. The pool area was lovely although the water was too cold for me! We spent time watching the whales, grilling meals and relaxing on the spacious lanai. Martha had everything we could want or need. The house has everything for going to the beach to books, games, cleaning supplies to dishes and serving pieces for having a dinner party. There was comfortable bedding, towels and toiletries. The residential neighborhood was quiet and close to beaches, restaurants and shopping. It was a perfect stay and I can’t say enough positive things about our great stay here!
