Many times when you look at a listing, the photos online look better than when you actually arrive. However, in this case, the photos online looked amazing and seeing them in person completely exceeded our expectations. The home was wonderful and the views. . . the views were breathtaking. We were so close to the beach, we woke up to the sounds of the waves crashing and went to sleep at night with the sounds of waves crashing. We absolutely loved staying at this home and the amenities that were available for our use. It really added to our experience. I also have to mention how impressed I was with Virginia our host. Prior to our arrival we were communicating about when our flights were coming in and she was so gracious to allow us an earlier check-in which made it so much more comfortable than driving around with our luggage waiting for our check-in time. Not to mention, she was there at the house to make sure we were able to get into the home without an issue and gave us a personal tour of the home to ensure we had everything we needed and showed us where everything was located. This personal touch and attention really stood out and impressed us. Finally when it came to checking out, our flight was later in the day and Virginia was again gracious to allow us a later than planned check out so that we could spend one last morning at the most beautiful beach that is in front of the home. It was truly an amazing and memorable vacation and we will definitely be back!
This is the best house on Kailua beach hands down.
We had an extended family vacation consisting of kids, parents, and grandparents. This property cannot be beat. The house, the views, and the location are simply spectacular. The house is such high quality and luxurious but comfortable and homey too. Lots of spaces to gather together, or get away for some quiet time.
The house is well appointed in all the key areas..kitchen, dining, garage, laundry, bathrooms. The hosts have literally thought of everything, from the rockers on the front of the wrap around porch to enjoy the beautiful views, to the assortment of water toys, chairs, towels, coolers, etc, to enjoy the beaches, to the assortment of kitchen appliances, tools, spices and condiments on hand.
The location of the house is amazing, steps from the beach with beautiful views from the house. But besides that, the town of Kailua is an awesome place to be if you want to be far enough from the crowds of Waikiki but still close enough to visit when you want.
There were just so many nice touches within the property that I’m unable to mention them all. But worth noting, after a long day of travel, we dreaded having to jump out of bed to get groceries b4 having a morning cup of coffee. To our surprise they had everything we needed to have our morning coffee before heading out.
We will definitely be back and look forward to staying at this property again!

We absolutely loved our stay here in Kailua. The property was even better than described. Dan and Virginia were stellar hosts, made sure we had everything we needed, and provided us with a perfect setting to rest, relax, and recharge at the end of summer. There is truly every outdoor toy anyone could need, all indoor conveniences too, and the location can’t be beat. Plenty of space for our large family to spread out. We will miss sipping coffee while enjoying the sunrise over the ocean and our daily boogie boarding with our kids. If you have the opportunity to stay here, you will not regret it. We hope to be back ourselves.

If possible, Dan & Virginia's home is even better than it looks! The location and views can't be beat, the house is appointed for anything you could want at the the beach, and the hosts were communicative and easy to work with from start to finish. We even cooked Thanksgiving dinner in the house - often a challenge in a rental! - and the kitchen has everything we needed and more! Overall, our time in Kailua was incredible and made all the better for staying in this beautiful home. We will absolutely be back!

I can’t imagine a better place to vacation on Oahu. Kailua is a charming town on the Windward side of Oahu a world away from the madhouse of Waikiki, but with everything you could want or need available. The property is exceptional in every way. Located on gorgeous Kailua Beach, this home is equipped with every beach toy, ( even kites to take advantage of the trade winds ) yard games, and has a manicured tropical garden with lounge and beach chairs, tables and a charming swing for two. The house is immaculate, and provisioned with absolutely everything you could possibly need. And the wraparound lanai with the rocking chairs positioned to view sunrises, moon over the Bay, and the daily beach walkers— heaven! The hosts, Virginia and Dan, are very responsive and accommodating. If there were 10 stars available to rate this exceptional home, I would give it 11! We can’t wait to return to our new “happy place”.

I have stayed at many rental homes in Kailua but this one was the best!! The home is spacious and clean and well stocked with anything you might need including bikes, surf boards, boogie boards, SUPs, kayaks, snorkel gear and more. Virginia and Dan were wonderful to work with. Highly recommend!! Oh... did I mention the view? WOW!!
Thank you for an amazing stay in an amazing location. Perfect place to “shelter in place” for our spring break. The amount of games, equipment, and cooking supplies blew us away.
