You cannot beat the location of this property if you want to hear the sounds of the Pacific Ocean. Although you cannot swim outside the Lanai, an adorable snorkeling cove is within a 3 minute drive of the unit. The owner has a fantastic supply closet of anything you could need to make your stay easier (Coolers, beach chairs, sand toys, snorkeling equipment, umbrella, tennis rackets - it is located in a racket club). It was a short drive to the shopping district of Kona and about 1 hour to Volcano National Park. The home/kitchen was stocked with enough towels, sheets, pillows, cooking utensils, dishes, glassware, etc. Could not ask for a better location to start the new year off! Great location, although due to the storm/high surf the patio/lanai area and windows were boarded up for 5 of the 7 days. Once they were opened - the views were fabulous!! However, the owners provided a partial refund because of it - very generous! Well appointed condo; loved the provided beach eqpt. Kitchen could have been stocked a little better to allow for more "at home cooking". Could have used plastic wrap/foil for leftovers. Towels and bathroom accessories were generous. We would easily stay here again - thanks for making our vacation stay wonderful!!

The townhouse that we stayed in was comfortable and well stocked especially appreciative of the wonderful snacks left for us. We used the cooler and chairs along with the snorkel gear which was a nice touch. The space was adequate for a family of four. However the master bedroom was a bit tight. The closet was missing the bar which would have been more useful than all the extra pillows and blankets that we never needed. Overall we would recommend this property to others.
