In the evening walk to great restaurants – Brennecke's Broiler overlooking the ocean or Kalapaki Joe’s. Many more dining and shopping options are within a 5 minute drive. Or enjoy making your own meals with our fully-stocked kitchen or the covered BBQ pavilion next to the tennis courts.

While we strive to provide 4 beach chairs, a cooler and an umbrella and try to replenish the supply when needed, I cannot guarantee the type and amount of beach equipment that will be there when you arrive as these items get broken or misplaced, left at the beach or in rental cars or loaned to other visitors. While I cannot absolutely guarantee it, an adequate supply is usually available. I recommend you check before renting equipment.

TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE: Please note our firm cancellation policy. We strongly recommend trip insurance. We specifically recommend CFAR trip insurance (Cancel For Any Reason coverage). Poipu is the place to stay for a home base in Kauai. Close, safe beaches, centralized access to the island, 15 miles from the airport. This rental back patio has some of the best views of Poipu's scenery/beach/ocean, being on the 3rd floor--even better than the local hotel beach views, in my opinion. The unit is situated so it catches an unobstructed, scenic view of the sunset. For getting the high view point, the unit is on the 3rd floor so it's a trek up 2 flights of stairs, so be mindful if you have trouble going up/down stairs. Very clean and well equipped. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen. Equipped with beach chairs, cooler, boogie board. Absolutely no complaints and I would 100% come back here again.

This property has everything you would need to make your vacation spectacular. We travel A LOT and this location has to be one of the best rental homes we've visited. Furnished with everyday pantry items, beach gear, full kitchen and an AMAZING view from the lanai to enjoy coffee in the morning and sunsets in the evening. Communication with the owner was great. I'd highly recommend this property. You won't regret a thing!
