The bedroom is outfitted with a king bed, wood shutters and a multi-speed overhead fan. With the new queen sofa bed, this unit sleeps 3 comfortably, and is fully furnished with comfy linens.

This home-away-from-home is equipped with beach towels, a locking safe for valuables, free high speed internet with wi-fi access and free long distance to US & Canada. Our oceanfront vacation condo at the beautiful Kihei Surfside Resort in Kihei, Maui, is steps away from the ocean and offers turtle, dolphin and seasonal (Dec-April) whale watching, and spectacular Maui sunsets all year round. One of our favorite past times is drinking our morning coffee on the lawn and watching the sea turtles swimming in the water in front of the building. The islands of Lanai, Kaho’olawe and also and Molokini Crater can be seen from the property. The rocky beach front offers excellent snorkeling, best accessed from the beautiful golden sand of Keawakapu beach, one of Maui’s best beaches, just steps away behind the neighboring Mana Kai Resort.

A 5-minute drive takes you to all the shops and restaurants of Kihei town or the Shops at Wailea. The condo is at the end of a long driveway from S. Kihei road, so that you don’t hear the traffic noise – just the ocean waves.

Our building, the Kihei Surfside, does not have air conditioning. We are directly oceanfront and the Pacific trade winds blow in right off the ocean each afternoon. Woke to beautiful seascape with whales cresting in distance. Clean charming unit. We understand ac to be installed in bedroom. While fan and windows made it comfortable ac will be welcome. Great lawn for yoga and workout. Steps from turtle resting area. Birdsong (except for early crowing rooster) was lovely,

Surfside is situated in a prime spot in Kihei, close to Wailea. Not on a sandy beach, but only a couple of hundred yards around the corner. The unique thing about Surfside is the enormous and immaculate grass area right outside the building. We enjoyed our 5 days there and the owner, Steve was very prompt in responding to our pairing hooking up with his Marshall sound system. He got hold of Dan, the property manager, who fixed the problem immediately. The apartment is quite small and could do with some upgrades, refreshing and replenishment of some kitchen utensils. This property was close to everything you needed. The beach was a 5 minute walk and a 10 minute drive to all the food places down S. Kihei Road. We frequented the deli across the way every morning for their breakfast sandwich which was delicious. The place was also very clean and had most of the things we needed such as laundry detergent, Netflix, Wifi, coffee maker… The sunset is also amazing from this place!

This experience exceeded my expectations. The view and atmosphere are breath taking, everything was very clean and well maintained. The property manager was a delight and the host responded within the hour when I had questions, also very friendly. I would not recommend if there are more than 2 guests due to small living space and 1 bathroom but it is perfect for 2 people.

We found the property to be clean and well equipped. However, the furnishing was a bit dated and it shows in the house, from bed frames, faucets to refrigerators. It was sad to see that even the toilet papers were of really inferior quality. The resort property itself feels undermaintaned and old, with a weird motel-esque vibe. Because of all of this, I would rate this property not more than 3 stars and not expect much from it. But I am giving an additional 1 star for the absolutely gorgeous views from the living room. The views are just amazing. Lanai and proximity to the beach are just wonderful. You can just relax and enjoy the beautiful sunsets from your balcony or from the garden below.
