What a gem! This ground floor condo was just as described! The view from the lanai was stunning & you are just steps away from a beautiful beach. The condo was well stocked with all that we needed for our stay. We especially appreciated the all the beach gear! There is even a rotating library up on the 3rd floor with quite a few books & puzzles. Thank you Sande & Bob for thinking of everything. We can't wait to return!! Mahalo!
Pictures match unit, location amazing. Unit needs many updates, new bedding, basic kitchen items a few and mismatched, like gotten from Goodwill. Bathroom need remodeling or deep cleaning.
The condo is well equipped and just steps from the beach. I was grateful to Sande for checking in on us during a tsunami warning and took her advice to evacuate to higher ground. We had an amazing week!

Description and reviews were spot on. Ground floor location and ease of access to the beach was fantastic. The surrounding breakwater provided shelter from the waves and was great for the kids to swim. We explored a lot of Maui and found this to be a great location to go wherever we wanted. Sande and Bob were very easy to communicate with and were great hosts.
Amazon stay…just like the pictures. We were ground floor next to the pool. Would definitely recommend.

We loved our condo! The location directly on the beach was superb for watching the sunset. Having the pool right outside our door was super convenient for the grandkids to go back and forth easily. The pool closed at 8:30, so it was quiet at night. The condo was very clean and well equipped, with enough beach chairs and towels for 6. We would definitely stay here again! Mahalo for everything!!

Local great until it storms which happens once a year. Lots of mud on road. Still can get around. Condo has queen and two twins. Well stocked condo Could use updating of beds and furniture. Had a great time exploring the island
Our stay was great! The condo was perfect for our family. The location was beautiful and being on the first floor made it easy to come and go. The only downfall was that we lost one day due to a power outage on Friday, 1/10/25 from 5:00am to 8:30pm. There was a really bad storm that tore down one of the power lines right in front of the condo.
Sande and Bob’s place was perfect for our family of four to spend the week before Christmas! The condo was exactly as expected from the listing. It was clean and well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook some of our meals at the condo. We also had beach towels and chairs available which was very helpful! The pool was right outside the door, and the view from the lanai was beautiful! Everything was perfect!

We have been dreaming and saving up to take our family to Hawaii for years. When we saw flight deals to Maui we jumped at the chance to finally make that dream come true. I wanted a place that had an ocean view and we could easily walk to the beach. Sande and Bob’s place was perfect. The location in Kihei was the perfect central location to for all of the things on our list of things to do and places to see. We could easily get to Wailea-Makena and Lahaina. The airport and Costco were just 20 mins away.
The rental had beach chairs, umbrellas, a couple of boogie boards, snorkel gear sets, mini cooler. Honestly everything you need for beach days. They even had some hydrogen peroxide that came in clutch for my son who got a really bad case of swimmers ear in the middle of the night.
We loved being able to walk out to the beach each morning and listen to the waves and even saw sea turtles a couple of mornings chilling on the beach in the little bay next to the condo.
Highly recommended this to any couples or smaller families visiting Maui. Sande was so sweet and quick to respond to any questions we had. Which if I had only read my emails I would’ve seen Sande had already thought of and answered them before we even got there.
Thank you Sande and Bob for making our kids first trip to Hawaii so amazing.

The location was ideal with beach, pool, lawn, and restaurant just steps from the lanai.
The owners were very helpful in our planning especially with a 21 month old toddler’s needs. We had a great stay! Just too brief!
We had a wonderful time in Maui. We stayed at Menehune Shores condos. It was wonderful to open our slider to a beautiful area with grass & plants. The pool was so close as well as the Indian restaurant; a few more steps and we were on the beach!!the condo was comfortable & clean.
Sande was a great host. She pointed us to great baby rental people that were amazing. She was right there at check in to make sure we got in okay which was perfect because I got the unit number wrong at first and she helped me out. Parking is a little tight and the road is quite busy but it all worked just fine. Checkout process was easy and we had a great time!

The view, the beach, the pool, the sunsets, and the condo were perfect for a week in Maui. We saw turtles every morning. We had more than we needed in the condo. The location is perfect. You can get anywhere within a short drive. We truly loved everything.

The hosts were spot on, kind and very attentive. The view was super pretty. The property was immaculate. The air units were a definite plus and worked well. We had a slight hiccup with the air unit and they had it repaired literally within 20 minutes. There was enough kitchen supplies to actually cook for the family. Beds were comfy enough - not awesome pillows but fine. I would recommend it greatly for casual family fun. The beach areas are super close however, the beaches on property were a little to rocky and the locals kinda over ran the small beach just to the right of the condo as well as the ground level bbqs. We used the bbq on the rooftop and it was clean, quiet and the view was amazing close to sunset. The only negative- it needs to be updated for sure. Every inch of it has reached its decor expiration date. Not the most expensive place for sure but certainly not the cheapest either. The condo next door I noticed had been updated and the vibe was much more beachy and visually appealing. It would be a nice convenience if the rooms had tv’s in them. Kids like to watch different shows than the parents when it’s unwind time.

We stayed for 10 days at this fantastic little condo. We were a mixed group of teens, adults and seniors. Everyone loved going out to see the sea turtles everyday, playing shuffle board and the ease of access to the pool, beach and grills. The sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable and the condo was well stocked with kitchen items as well as beach chairs and towels. Overall it was an amazing spot and the entire group enjoyed our time and the space! Things to keep in mind, the property gets VERY windy every afternoon and there are not a lot of places to walk to but really all the spots in Kihei are still very close. We loved being on the first floor, it made it so easy to come and go to the beach or pool or out for the day. Downside was that sitting on the lanai there was a bit of foot traffic. If you are traveling with a family this is a great spot!
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is spotless, cleaned very well in between visits. You have everything you need to be comfortable like lots of towels and beach chairs and a washer and dryer. We didn’t cook much but when we did cook the kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and the sheets were nice. The location was great. I don’t normally enjoy at ground floor unit, but in this case I really liked being able to go in and out of the unit from the beach and the pool, we did see a couple of cockroaches in one of the bathrooms over the four nights stay But this is Hawaii and you have to expect more insects than you would expect at home. The room facing the ocean does get a little warm with the afternoon sun coming through the windows, but I always slept fine. The air conditioning in the living room works fantastic and cools down most of the unit. I would stay here again without question
