Our unit, B25, is a comfortable one bedroom, one bath unit that is located on the 3rd floor of the Oceanfront Kona Reef Complex. Be sure to check the 360 video tour to see the features and a complete tour of this lovely unit. The link is the arrow or partial image to the left of the main picture above. The complex offers an oceanfront swimming pool, spa and direct access to the beach plus a great common-area barbeque. Great place for sunsets!! The living room has a queen sofa sleeper, stereo/TV/DVD/VCR/cable, and access to a lanai with great ocean views. There is a full bath with tub and complete kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and all other utensils. A washer/dryer and air conditioner are in the unit also.

The condo is approximate 3/4 mile from Kailua-Kona and shopping, and less than 10 minutes from two of the Island's best beaches including, Magic Sands Beach and Kahaluu Beach Park, which offers some of the best snorkeling available on the Island. We frequently walk into town for coffee and restaurants. If you have not been to Kona before we suggest that you get a copy of the book we mention on our web page Hawaii The Big Island Revealed – The Ultimate Guidebook” We call this “THE GOOD BOOK” – it is always accurate and provides a wide variety of Island experience options – be sure to look for the “Real Gems”.

After I spent the first hour wiping down “EVERYTHING” so we could then feel comfortable enough to relax. The floors weren’t clean so you couldn’t walk without shoes even in the middle of the night. Sorry to say for the amount that you pay the view still isn’t worth it.

Condo was as expected. Dated but adequate. The kitchen rug was very dirty. Definitely needs cleaned or replaced. Dissapointed there was not a fresh kitchen sponge. But fun to watch the surfers from the deck. Pool and bbq area very nice and close to downtown.

Have stayed at many units in this complex before and almost all have been great. This one was very dated and not particularly clean. Housekeeping did a good job but unit needs deep clean. Kitchen adequate but had limited tools/pans (nice small rice cooker but no big spoons for cooking). Two worn out fry pans, two smaller saucepans and a big pasta pan. Drinking glasses (2?), etc. for the price (with all taxes and fees), was overpriced compared to similar units we have rented. Confusing times for checking out, contract said 10, note in condo was 11. Housekeeper was gracious and told us not to worry. Generally: pool very nice, grounds well kept. Couldn’t find parking on property for one night so had to park on road where people were sleeping in or near their cars.

Stayed for three nights, enjoying the lanai at any time, walking to restaurants, outrigger paddling, dip in the sea, visiting. Comfortable, clean, great spot!

This condo has a great location at Kona Reef. Beautiful pool, hot tub, grilling area for lounging and watching the sunset with other residents. Condo lanai has a lovely beach, sunrise view. Walk to town or easy drive to Kona beaches. comfortable with needed amenities. This is our 3rd visit.

Looks like some updating is happening, carpets in pictures are gone, floors are now hard. Still a bit of smell of mold, my allergies flared a bit. Everything else was great. Location was walking distance to Kona shopping, watched the sunrise on the beach every morning from the lanai, and snorkeled on the beach, lots of fish and even a turtle.
