Located on the north end of the world acclaimed Kaanapali Beach, Paki Maui is its own island of tranquility. Paki Maui is a four-story, three building, 108 apartment structure located directly on the ocean with a sand beach and a double-reef so you can swim and snorkel in safety and comfort. This complex also offers a large grassy lawn area that fronts the beach where you can sit comfortably under the palm trees and gaze out on the islands of Molokai and Lanai and where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a game of Frisbee. Whale shows are frequent from mid-November through March and every sunset is spectacular!
The Koi pond, lush gardens, and ocean surf all lend to creating a peaceful environment away from the hustle and bustle of the big hotels. Our unit, number 114, is a one-bedroom one-bath ground level garden apartment that reflects that sense of peace and harmony. Situated in the midst of the lush tropical garden. The trade winds continually blow and keep this shaded unit cool and comfortable-no need for air conditioning. The shower has a dual control shower head and hand wand. The toilet is equipped with a bidet. The bedroom offers a queen size bed, and flat screen TV. The living room is equipped with a comfortable sofa bed with a six inch mattress, as well as a flat screen TV. There is free WIFI Internet, cable TV, and a room safe. You are literally steps away from the Pool/BBQ area where you will find a swimming pool, whirlpool, tables, and barbecue grills which are surrounded by granite countertops and of course the ocean. Washers and dryers are located on each floor for your convenience.
There is a Times grocery store just a 5 minute walk south, along with a Subway, Jazzin’ Java, and several other stores. Directly across the street is Ohana Tacos, Honokowai Okazuya for the best deli on the West Side, and The Fish Market for the freshest catches around. Just a few steps north is Bad Ass Coffee (Maui’s version of Starbucks) and on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday is host to a Farmer’s Market in their parking lot, where you can buy fresh produce and other island delicacies.
Room rates are plus tax (Hawaii General Excise tax of 4.167% & Transient Accommodation tax of 9.25%).Also included is a pre-arrival cleaning. We can arrange for additional cleanings at your expense if you wish. There is a minimum of 3 nights stay.
1/2 of the total rental due at booking and the remaining 1/2 due 30 days prior to arrival date.
Cancellation policy: If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival date, the deposit is forfeited. However, if we can rebook the room your deposit will be cheerfully returned less a $50 administration fee. If cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival, you will receive a full refund.

We really enjoyed our stay here, it’s very well equipped with what we needed and the host is very gracious, the location is great, this is our 3 time in Maui, we look forward to coming back next year! We would definitely recommend this to our family and friends

It is a really nice place, with close proximity to a fish taco place, gas station, ABC store with a deli, and a little further down a food truck park. It doesn't have a/c but with the windows open and the fans going it was very comfortable, and I slept well.Ok with regards tonthe accuracy of the listing, I took one star off, just because some of the information is no longer valid. It is a garden view and no ocean view even from the garden. It wasn't a problem. The wifi is no longer good on the listing. Go by what is indicated in the condo. There is no longer a parking fee of 20 which i was pleasantly surprised by. You do however need to register your car by texting your plate number with your unit number to the phone number indicated on the main office door. Once you get your code scan the QR code and follow the instructions.The property's beach isn't that accessible due to erosion over the years, but there is beach access nearby.The hosts are very easy to reach and answered my questions the times I did have some very quickly.I would stay here again without a doubt if come back to Maui.Mahalo

A great place for a few days stay in the area. Beautiful sunsets from the waterfront. Everything you need provided including beach chairs etc. Only complaint was there is no place to hang wet bathing suits to dry!

I lived on Maui, Lahaina side for many years! I used to live down the street from here, so I am very familiar with all. The place was clean, I couldn't figure out how to use the TV, but that was no problem. Mahalos!!

Steps from a lovely beach and a very short drive to some terrific food trucks. Beach play items on site, lovely garden in center of condos. My only one left unchecked on the wish list is AC. It got very warm a few nights.

We had a wonderful stay at the Paki Maui unit! Everything we needed was in walking distance, and though the property didn't have a "swimming beach" on it per se, there was a small beach area right next door and another beach access a 10 min walk from us. We had some issues initially with a wi-fi outage and lock issue, but the property owner was easily reachable and was able to resolve things quickly! We would not hesitate to stay here again if we were in Maui! :)

wonderful property. very well maintained. the extra thought put into the little extras mad all the difference Eg:
surfing and snorkeling and beach equipment; kitchen fully loaded; even a fresh sponge in the kitchen. Books to read. - check all the cabinets - loaded with extras!
The only errors in the listing are as follows but did not diminish from our stay: There is no air conditioning other than ceiling fans and portable fans, but the Tradewinds keep you comfortable. There is no bidet. There was no fee for the parking pass from the building office. the office also has a book exchange. 00

Stay was affordable so it worked for us we were only there to sleep and shower. I’d like to suggest keeping a bed protector on the sofa bed so guests don’t have to see the staining on it. I was mortified when my guest pulled it out to make the bed to sleep and it had a large stain on it.
