Overall a nice place with great access to the beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room would be nicer if it had at least a fold up table and chairs. The wicker loveseat size couch wasn’t very comfortable but was in good shape. Overall I would recommend it to my friends
The stay at this hotel was for 10 days. Very close to the beach and shopping. The premises were clean and hotel staff were wonderful. The Vrob was clean and accommodations good. Was a bit noisy because of construction next door, but other than that we were very happy with our stay there.

Room was off the street towards the back of property, and away from the bar ( open til 2am). This provided quite after 9pm. On the street side not so much—per a couple riding in the elevator. Was a good experience.
Great place to stay walking distance to so much, like the zoo, beach lots of stores and restaurants.
Pros: close to a lot of restaurants, shopping, and the beach. Temperature stayed pretty cool! The hotel staff were nice. Cons: the pictures are a false representation as the room is old and somewhat dirty. The fitted bed sheet had brown marks and no extras were provided. There is visible paint peeling and exposed wood all over. Dust has collected in the shower vent, which makes me question how long it’s been uncleaned and made showering uncomfortable. The kitchen sink kept backing up and spewing black particles. Likewise, the shower pipes kept backing up causing waster to pool at our feet. The AC unit is very noisy but effective so not really a con. You get what you pay for, but I wouldn’t recommend it.
Easy check in. The room looks like the photos. Great location across the street from the Honolulu Zoo. Easy to walk a few blocks over to Kuhio Ave to take the 2, 8, or 13 buses down the street towards the busy restaurants and shopping area. Get a daily bus card at one of the three ABC stores nearby. Waikīkī Beach is a block away for checking out the sunset. The 10th floor view of Diamond Head and the beach is fantastic. The bed and many pillows was very comfortable. Nice to have beach towels. The kitchen has lots of utensils and stuff for cooking. I appreciated the full size refrigerator and the freezer.
Location is great, 5 minutes to beach, around the corner from main street with restaurants, shopping etc..
It was a good location and had access to anything. The view from the room was stairwells, dirty building windows and cement. That was the only part that would keep me from staying in this place again.
Close to restaurants and beach, but pool was too cold to get into
The apartment was comfortable and quiet. We liked the location above all. The bathroom needs a refresh as it should have a grab bar in the tub as it is slippery. The team was very responsive.
Nice visit for UHM move in. Room was clean & the location is so easy to get around. Quick walk to the beach!
The location of the beach and shopping is top-notch. I am so glad we chose this place to stay. The bed is so comfortable, most mattresses are uncomfortable, but not this one. We slept so well. The Waikiki Beach is steps out the front door. There is food and shopping everywhere. The park over the street is amazing. Free parking is everywhere. The hotel is perfectly located. The 10th-floor deck is just perfect for a view of the ocean and a view of Diamond Head. The room was quiet and at the end of the hallway away from the elevator. The hotel employees were so helpful. The pool was like a private pool. Most of the time we were the only people using it. The volume for the TV is on the side of the remote, I didn't have experience with a Roku, but I do now. Everything was perfect, I recommend it.
Small but very nice. Complete kitchen. Half block from beach. No ocean view.
Retro, clean and quaint place to stay. Very close to beach, zoo and shopping. We were lucky enough to catch Art Festival in park outside of zoo. Experienced bus system to and from Pearl Harbor Memorial.
We loved our stay at the Waikiki Grand, everything we needed, great location, Mark was a pleasure to deal with. Only wish we could’ve stayed longer!
Very small and no dresser, or closet. The kitchen was so small you really couldn’t cook on it
While the space was a little small, it is Honolulu, so it was what we expected and wasn't really an issue. Great location (we actually walked down from Diamond Head one day) and just a block or so to the beach. Plenty of amenities close by and the gay bar on the second floor was actually one of our favorite places to hang out! Nice to have AC as we visited during a humid rainy time.
