Hale Hihimanu - a newly renovated house and guest cottage with AC throughout. Located on a private driveway with just two neighbors, this property offers unprecedented privacy for a home in the resort community of Princeville. The beauty and elegance of this property begins the moment you step out of your car. Venture along a set of pavers through a vibrant garden to the front door. You've arrived in paradise. The house is a spacious one bedroom with two full baths. The living room is surrounded by windows capturing the beautiful Hanalei Mountains - including our namesake, Hihimanu. Hihimanu roughly translates to mean Elegant Bird, referencing the Hawaiian manta ray, seen in the twin peaks at the top of the ridge.

The living areas of this house and cottage just received a thoughtful and elegant refresh and remodel. All new flooring, new appliances, new furniture, fresh inventory. The two sofas are set up theater style, for enjoying the ever changing mountain view and your favorite TV shows. Both sofas are pull out beds. Just off the living room is a lovely covered lanai, perfect for capturing the sights, sounds and smells of Kauai. The dining table is set up for six, but has room for eight if you pull the chairs off the lanai. The kitchen is built with the most discerning gourmet chef in mind. Wall oven and microwave, cook top, dishwasher and bespoke refrigerator are thoughtfully placed to welcome the chef and sous chef. Separate bar top includes another sink. A spacious pantry is just off the kitchen, the laundry room is just around the corner. Down a short hall is the main bedroom with a king bed, table and chairs for morning coffee, and a fold down futon sofa. The bathroom is en-suite with separate shower and garden tub. Plus a huge cedar lined closet. Main house is approximately 1800 square feet.

The separate cottage is behind the house, along a covered bridge. Sweet and private, it's a perfect get away for an afternoon of reading on the screened in lanai. The cottage has a queen bed. There's a small area to the side with counters, cabinets, toaster oven, coffee maker, refrigerator and prep sink. The full bath has a garden tub, and the best part - a private outdoor shower. Yes, there's hot and cold water. Perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach. Guest cottage is approximately 420 square feet.

As you arrive on site, there's a two car garage. Hale Hihimanu is a short 15 minute drive down to world famous Hanalei Bay. Princeville Center is just two miles away, with groceries, shops and dining.
