We came here from Maui to see the big island for a few days and this place was spectacular! We wished that we had shortened our time on Maui to spend more time here! Even if it was only on the patio and at the pools. The unit was spectacular, it was a fabulous experience overall! We look forward to our next stay!
The condo is clean, well appointed and comes with all you need for a great stay. The lanai was our favorite spot for morning coffee and dinners in. The pool/restaurant is fantastic. The grounds are well maintained. We found the beds to be very firm and the pillows were not comfortable (we went to Costco and bought pillows for 20 so not a huge deal). The provided beach chairs, snorkel gear, etc is a nice touch. Would stay again.

Our holiday was simply magical! Our rental was spotless, well-appointed, comfortable, close to spectacular golf, shops, restaurants, amazing beaches, and our favorite MaiTais at Lava Lava. The private Ocean Club has great food, cocktails, live entertainment, amazingly friendly staff, gorgeous outdoor gym overlooking lava rock and the Pacific, and the sunsets are beyond words. We will return to this lovely home to create more family memories!

The condo was super clean, the kitchen was well stocked and the closet was loaded with everything you need for a day at the beach or a game night in. The Hali’i Kai property is unparalleled. We can’t wait to come back.

We enjoyed the clean, spacious condo. It had everything we needed. The neighborhood grounds were gorgeous and well maintained. The pool area was also beautiful. We will certainly miss eating our breakfast on the lanai in the mornings watching the birds, mongooses, and golfers.
Hali’i Kai is not inexpensive but it is worth the price! It has the best location on the island, near beautiful resorts and beaches (Maniniowali, Kauna’oa and Hapuna are out of this world)!! There is a $25 fee daily for the pool and restaurant use but that, too, is worth it! The 180+ degree view of the ocean from the pool is amazing and the sunsets are spectacular! The pool is lovely although it only gets 4 feet deep. The chef at the restaurant is incredible and makes delicious food! Kathy is a great server- very attentive and friendly. The 3D condo itself is tastefully decorated and comfortable (although an extra arm chair would be great). The views from the lanai are amazing and the grounds are meticulously cared for! I would definitely stay here again! Mahalo!

This was our dream vacation and it was incredible! The property was perfect for our needs. The pool was great and the views were unmatched! We had an amazing time watching whales and gorgeous sunsets. The location made it easy to go out and about during the day and come back and relax in the evening. My only complaint is that I’m allergic to fragrance so the sheets caused a reaction due to being washed in scented laundry detergent. The pillows were also extremely flat. Those two things did not diminish the incredible time our family had on the Big Island!

Everything was as expected for our vacation stay. Unit 3D is excellently maintained and has all the needed beach supplies. The Ocean Club is great and the staff very friendly and accommodating. We look forward to visiting 3D and Hali'i Kai again.
3D was perfect for our family of 5. Very spacious, clean and has all the necessities we needed. Including the nice beach umbrella and chairs.
The club house had excellent views situated on a bluff. Perfect for watching the sunset while having a nice dinner and listening to live Hawaiian music. Super relaxing to say the least.
