Kapalua Ridge 1421 is a perfect condo to rent if you enjoy easy hiking and a quiet sandy beach all within walking distance. The unit is tastefully decorated in a relaxed modern style and it was well stocked with everything you need for a one week stay. The communication from the host was excellent.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The apartment was even better than we’d imagined. Small touches - like making shampoo, conditioner, and body wash available in both showers and ground Hawaiian coffee in the kitchen - made everything easy upon arrival. We appreciated the beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler and especially the proximity to both Honolua Bay and Slaughterhouse Beach for snorkeling (a short drive). The view of the ocean from the apartment is stunning.
If you're looking for a clean, quiet, and well-equipped place to stay while visiting West Maui, look no further! We liked that the villa was cleaned with care upon our arrival and had everything needed to make our stay there very relaxing and comfortable. The furnishings and appliances were clean and looked to be fairly new. Hubby and I enjoyed sipping cocktails on the lanai, which had a nice view of the ocean from afar. We also liked that we could walk to Kapalua Bay and Napili Bay instead of having to drive and park (under 1 mile walk, so that distance may not be for everyone but we liked getting some fresh air and extra steps in). There are resort restaurants and other locally owned places to eat conveniently located nearby too. Lastly, the property management company was a pleasure to work with; they kept us updated on what to expect as our arrival and departure dates approached, and were friendly and responsive to the questions I had. Overall excellent experience, would recommend, and we will be back!

Everything about this condo was perfect. Insanely quiet and inviting property grounds, covered parking, beautiful unit with an absolutely amazing view. Everything about this Kapalua Ridge unit was perfect. Clean with very functional amenities. Would absolutely love to stay at this unit again. My only personal note was that the bed was just a tad too firm for me, however for my wife it was perfect.

We enjoyed our stay at this well appointed condo. We loved the tranquility of the location and the fantastic view from the property! Whales were visible everyday from the privacy of your own condo and made each day special. Several beautiful beaches within walking distance are great for "getting your steps in." We were also able to find parking at all of the nearby beaches on those lazy days. Communication was professional, check-in and out was straightforward, and the team even accommodated a special request. There was construction happening on the roof when we were there, which was not a huge issue for us, however, I know that some guests may want to be informed ahead of time, when possible. This construction was happening on the other condos too, as they were working their way down the street, clearly as part of the Ridge Villas upkeep, so the team may not have had exact dates or control over when this is happening.The kitchen window crank needs repair but other than that the condo exceeded expectations and I would stay again in a heart beat. There was a power outage on the island while we were there and it sounded like this is a common occurrence there so don't forget your flashlight. The only other thing was when my husband began loading our luggage on the morning of check out, he returned to the door to find the code had already stopped working and it was only about 10:15 am and we were not due to check out until 11 and had not yet done so. This also didn't create a problem, as I was still inside but we did have to be very mindful for one of us to stay inside the rest of the morning. This could have been an issue, had we gone out for the morning and not been able to get back in. That being said, the only reason I included these small details is because information only makes for even better future experiences. Overall, this was a high quality, positive stay with a professional and thorough hosting team. We highly recommend this condo and can't wait to return!
Everything about our stay at this property was perfect. The view is better than the photos and the unit is super well equipped everything is brand new and felt luxurious. There are beach chairs, coolers and toys so no need to buy or bring anything. The unit is big enough for a family of four and with the extra bathroom and shower and luandry, we will bring our kids next time although it was nice to have the place to ourselves for a week. Be sure and take advantage of the free Kapalua Shuttle to get around, call and they pick you up and drop you anywhere in Kapalua - that was an unexpected bonus, we hardly used our rental car! Mahalo for the amazing vacation, cant wait to come back.

1. Fan and light above the stove didnt work.
2. Bedroom AC was not cool enough. Humid in bedroom.
3. Shower was big but only one shower head and very low water pressure.
4. Kitchen cabinets had been "wrapped/remodeled" and the wrap was coming loose in places.
5. Couch- you would be better off with a comforta le sectional with recliners. Couch was horribly uncomfortable.
6. Patio furniture and sliding dooes have been etched badly by the saltwater.
7. Not enough wash cloths. Had to wash towels every couple of days.
8. Overall value
The price we paid was excessive for what the stay provided. We would have given a better review if it wasnt so expensive.
We love this property. The property is exactly what is described. The photos are real! The location is great. We can walk to the beach and general store nearby. The unit is very spacious and we felt we were at home. We love the balcony.

This review is a struggle for me. We loved the location, the view, and the amenities were nice. The rental rate was a good value. But clearly, this unit is a rental mule. The host needs to do a better job of paying attention to the details. We had an AC (Apparently an issue before we stayed here) and washer issue, and neither was fixed during our stay. There was communication with the host but not a resolution. The remedies, unfortunately, made the stay uncomfortable. However, I would stay here again if the issues at hand were addressed.

We spent 8 wonderful nights at this beautiful condo. The interior was recently remodeled and beautiful. The view was amazing. Best of all we were able to walk to so many highly rated restaurants. There was also a shuttle available to use in case you don’t feel like the walk. Just perfect!
This unit was exactly as described! Breathtaking views to wake up to every morning! Clean, beds comfy, quit neighborhood, stunning remodel. Kitchen was just what we needed to whip up breakfast and lunch for the beach. We loved our stay and look forward to staying here again! Mahalo!
