Beautiful condo. Plenty of room for 6 people. Resort has plenty of restaurants and shopping close by. Saw many turtles near rocky shore. Loved it.
Location was perfect. Comfortable condo with modern, clean decor.
The condo is incredibly roomy - we had 2 condos rented in the building for a multigenerational family trip. We only used 2 of the bedrooms in this unit, but the large family room and huge lanai were the morning and evening gathering places for our group of 7. I wished upon booking that we were higher in the building for the view, but the second floor was absolutely perfect. There is an exterior staircase immediately outside the door to go one flight down to the pool and lawn and beach.
The location was great - as other reviewers have said, so I won't repeat all of that.
The pros of the unit far outweighed the cons, but I'll mention them here just for info purposes. I would definitely stay here again!
Pros: location, view, huge living area, clean, nicely updated. The layout is great, offering privacy to the two main bedrooms.
Cons: the carpeting in the bedrooms made things feel a little humid and less appealing... hard floors would have been nice in there. As mentioned by others, the AC struggled in the main area. This was compounded because the roller shades have flimsy plastic bead cords which kept snapping apart on the large windows, so we couldn't roll them down in the afternoon to keep the sun out. We called and they were very responsive, but maintenance just snapped it back together... the roller was too resistant and snapped again, so we kept it in the up position.
FYI, There is no way to enter this unit without going on several steps in the corridor.
Our family had a wonderful week at the Royal Mauiian. The view from our condo was magnificent! The unit was so comfortable with everything that we needed for our stay. The large lanai had room for all five of us to sit outside and enjoy the view and beautiful sunsets. The pool was lovely and sandy beaches were very close.
Large condo with double patio, gorgeous views! Walking distance to lots of local shops and places to eat. Such a great spot next to beach and pool.
The A/C wall unit had some issues so it was a little warm at times in the living space. Can’t keep up with the large space. When A/C is over working the return on the patio emits a lot of hot air which is a little uncomfortable on a warm day.
Has everything you need!!
I am very particular about cleanliness and this place was clean. It’s in a great location: go left out of the condo and you are at the beach, go right and you are also at a beach, step straight out of condo and enjoy the pool or watch the turtle show everyday. Great location to take small 15/20 min car rides to check out other beaches.
Very nicely updated property in older well maintained building in Kihei. Great for large families - 3 Bedrooms 2 bathrooms- Beautiful waterfront.
We were a family of 6 (my husband, myself and our young adult sons). The condo was contemporary , spacious and tastefully decorated. We watched the breathtaking sunsets every night on the lanai or rooftop terrace. The place is better than the pictures in the listing! The open kitchen and huge living/dining area was perfect. The location is amazing. We had the best view of the sea turtles directly in front of us and the 2 adjacent beaches were literally steps away. The condo is right next to the staircase that leads to the pool/beach. The grounds are beautifully maintained and framed by palm trees and colorful hibiscus flowers. The pool with the ocean view was welcoming after a day on the beach. The grocery stores, restaurants, water sport rentals across the street were so convenient. The larger Safeway grocery store only a quick car ride away. The Foodland within walking distance had the best freshest take out poke bowl options. The pre-arrival, checkin/check out process seamless. We will never forget our fabulous stay here in Kihei!
Nothing beats sitting on the balcony, looking out at the panoramic ocean views, sea life (as in sea turtles!), islands that punctuate the seascape, and hearing the crashing waves. Spectacular sunsets!
Excellent beach walking, prime location for easy access to restaurants.
Exterior or the building and the pool are meh, but who cares when you have so much else to look at and enjoy.
A few minor issues… not addressed but still a good time!
