Mauna Kea Palms is a large single-level condo that has 2 master bedrooms each with their own luxurious bath. This home is perfect for families or two couples looking to share a home or families with kids.
The first master has access to the lanai and views of the ocean and king bed. The second master has two TwinXL beds that also can be combined to make a King with topper. It features views to the mountains. There is also a pack and play and other infant items for little ones.
The living room and dining room open up to a covered wraparound lanai with grill.
The lanai features lounge chairs and overlooks the 4th green on the world famous Hapuna Beach Golf course (one of the best in Hawaii). The glass railings ensure you have the largest ocean and golf views possible.
Mauna Kea Palms is in one of the closest buildings to the Kumulani gated community recreation center and pool. This recreation center has a pool and grills to enjoy and views out to the ocean.
As a Guest in this home, you have the option of registering for the Mauna Kea Club Amenity program for ($120 / day in 2024), ($130 / day in 2025), per group (Not per person) providing you with the opportunity to enjoy exclusive benefits at both the Mauna Kea and Hapuna Beach Hotels. (Advance registration through Paradise In Hawaii and the Hotel required).
The benefits include charging privileges at both hotels, use of the hotel beaches and pools, towel usage, lounge chairs, umbrellas, reduced golf rates, tennis (court fees apply), use of two fitness centers, and guaranteed parking at each hotel.

First; communication with property manager was very good. All of my questions were usually answered within a few hours. Next; the property is very well maintained with quality furniture and bedding. My wife commented several times how much she appreciated the decor. Relaxing environment with nice appliances, plenty of utensils. Grill on the patio is a plus. Sunsets and whale watching from the lani was one of the best features of our trip. I usually try to rent bottom floor condos for a grassy access beyond the lani, but this condo has such a good view from the second floor, it's well worth it. Access to nearby Mauna Kea resort and beaches was a selling point for us. We enjoyed all of it and wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.

We had an amazing week in Hawaii and the condo was perfect. It had everything we needed, towels, coffee Maket, beautiful view, etc. Location was outstanding and it was spotless when we arrived. The best part was watching the sunset from the deck.

We stayed in the apartment in August 2022 and had a really great time. The apartment is nicely decorated and very clean. When we had one minor issue with dish washer, Bob helped us very fast (Thanks again, Bob!). All in all, if you take the amenity package of the hotel, it is a perfect place to stay.

This condo did not disappoint! The location was wonderful and the view was amazing. We saw whales every day! The condo literally had everything you need to cook. The most equipped place I have ever stayed in. I would definitely stay in this place again.

Can not beat the location and optional residence club. Bob was super responsive and helpful! Pictures do not do the condo justice as it is very well kept and comfortable. The lanai was great to watch the sunset and the furniture was very comfortable! Would recommend this property!

This 2nd level condo was beautiful inside and out! The Floorplan was perfect our family of 4! Even without leaving the condo, the balcony/lanai was expansive enough and the view of the golf course and ocean was enough to help us spread out and relax after a long flight! The gas griddle was great and the washer and dryer inside the condo unit were amazing! Truly an amazing place to stay!

We have stayed in the Kumulani Condos on many occasions, but this was our first time staying in unit E-3. The condo is beautifully decorated, with comfortable furniture, and was very clean upon arrival. The enclosed lanai was spectacular, and we enjoyed many beautiful sunsets. The Hawaiian artwork is very nice. The property manager was extremely helpful and available to answer questions. We ran out of toilet paper and also felt one important item was missing from the kitchen. Robert immediately purchased the items and dropped them off right away. We participated in the resorts amenity program and enjoyed both the Mauna Kai and Hapuna beach access and parking. We will definitely be back and will look at this unit's availability when making our reservations.

It was the perfect location. Scenic Sunsets from large lanai high on a hill. Nicely decorated and well-equipped. Access to both resorts made for a terrific get-away experience. Bob was an excellent communicator and super responsive. Highly recommended spot.
