Kona Alii is located in the heart of historic Kailua-Kona town on the Big Island of Hawaii. Ocean Front! Steps away from the shops, restaurants and ocean.
All of our vacation rentals include a basic “start-up supply” of: laundry detergent, garbage bags, kitchen sponge, liquid soap, dishwasher liquid, paper towels, toilet paper, conditioning shampoo, small bar soap, all-purpose cleaner and salt/pepper. Cooking oils, condiments, spices, food storage bags, plastic wrap and aluminum foil are not provided. Once the startup supply runs out, guests can restock at nearby grocery stores.

This place is 5-star all around. Much better than any close-by hotel. We could not have asked for a better location and view with a clean, comfortable and well-appointed apartment. This place was perfect for our stay in Kona.

The view and sunsets were amazing! We watched spinner dolphins while eating breakfast on the lanai two of the mornings. Cleanest VRBO we have stayed at. Restaurants, shops and farmers market all within 10 minute walking distance. You will hear cars going by, but it is well worth it if you want to be close to town with the best view! Communication with the resort was easy and they respond quickly. Hope to stay here again when we visit Kona.

The condo was clean and cozy. The accessibility to it was smooth and easy. It was so close to town for coffee, dinners, etc. You are able to get the local flavor of the town, watch sunsets from the balcony and experience Kona for all its beauty. Highly recommend.

It was a great condo, with a ridiculously amazing view. On several of the mornings, we saw dolphins jumping. It was also really handy that the murphy bed is in an enclosed space with it's own door.
My only minor complaint is that the bottom sheet in the main bedroom didn't quite fit the bed, so no matter how much I tucked it down, it kept popping up. That should be easily resolved!

Nicely furnished and best equipped condo we have stayed in. Kitchen is modern with all that you need, including a blender if you want to make smoothies with all of the tropical fruit available at the farmers market only a few blocks away. We only went to a restaurant a couple of times in 2 weeks, even though there are many good ones within walking distance. SafeWay supermarket and Walmart are a 5 minute drive. Nice beach chairs and beach towels if you explore the many beaches on the island. This condo is a 10! The location is convenient to restaurants and the harbor with boat tours. Management was nice, and very responsive. We asked for a couple of extra towels and they were quickly provided. The only negative is that the traffic noise in the evening can be bothersome if the large sliding doors are open, but since we needed the air conditioner every evening with the doors shut, it wasn't a problem. During the day it's not a problem and you can enjoy the view from the patio that has a ceiling fan. You still get that fantastic view and sunset with the doors closed. We would definitely stay here again.

Location was exceptional, building was very safe, quiet, easy to access. The condo was absolutely first class! So tastefully designed! We also appreciated the extra detergent, soaps on hand. All of the appliances were exceptional! The kitchen was very well equipped so we ate out less than we normally would have! Extra bathroom towels would probably be helpful but washer/dryer made that easier to handle. The detachable shower heads were nice but kind of challenging to heat water while they are attached unless you don’t mind standing in cold water for a while. The smaller room with the pullout Murphy bed was so cute and comfortable. All of the beach gear was great too! Every great restaurant was within a few minutes of the condo, we rarely drove our car. Parking was covered, easy and safe. The lockbox was a hiccup a few times but the staff was quick to help us correct that issue. We had the best time and will gladly return to this lovely oasis!
