The condo is well equipped and comfortable. The kitchen is particularly well equipped with many amenities. There are multiple stains on the carpet that impact your first impression but the unit is clean generally. The large spacious layout is very quiet in a quiet neighborhood which made the accommodations very pleasant and relaxing.
I am used to a welcome basket and a binder with local information. No basket and all info provided electronically. I guess I am showing my age, but I like the old way.
The Vrbo site is generally accurate with two significant exceptions. The main living room photo shows a chair, ottoman and table that do not exist. The lanai does not have the barbeque or table stated in the description.
I gave the facilities and the management company lower ratings for two reasons, one major and one minor.
The major reason: the public recreation area was closed for planned maintenance during about a third of our stay. No pool, no hot tub, no public barbeque area. It is still closed and will be for another 2 weeks at least. We should have been informed before we booked. We were not.
The minor gripe: the errors in the description at the VRBO site.

We travel to Oahu several time a year since our daughter (granddaughter and son-in-law) live in Kaneohe but we usually find something in Honolulu. This was the first time that we stayed on the west side of Oahu and we loved it. The location is close to beaches, golf and shopping; with the unit itself being close enough to the pool and barbecues. Our stay was a reunion of sorts; our son has been stationed in Italy for the last 4 years and we brought he and his wife (who now live in Texas). Our son and daughter had not seen each other in person for 6 years and we didn't tell her that he was coming. It was a great surprise in a fantastic location.
As we all like to cook, it was a pleasant surprise to find the kitchen so well stocked with appliances, utensils, and pots and pans. Usually, a rental has 6 forks, 6 spoons, six plates, a fry pan, a pot, etc...you get the picture.
It would have been nice if the bicycles in the garage were in working order. The only real negative were the stains on the carpet.
Over-all, we loved our stay and wished that we had more time to stay.

Our family with two young kids loved staying at this condo. We had plenty of room, great sunset views from the lanai, and useful extras like beach umbrella, boogie boards, and a wagon for lugging all of our stuff to the beach. The pool and spa are beautiful and very close. There’s also a great market within walking distance. Some of the appliances were a little dated, but we had everything we needed and management was very responsive when we had questions or needed help with something. Overall, we would definitely recommend this condo for your next trip to Oahu.
