Great basic location, though the property itself seems to be in some strange wind tunnel. It was unbearably windy outside our door, in the hallways and especially at the pool the entirety of our trip. There is a pleasant beach nearby and a wonderful view. If it wasn’t Maui, I would probably give it one-two stars for one-ply toilet paper, bugs, living and dead plaguing our kitchen usage all week. Communication was poor in the VRBO app… once I switched to using the phone # I received upon arrival, I got superior response-time and at least “understanding “ for our issues. The price seemed pretty darn good for the view. Saw dozens of whales & turtles all week. Good snorkeling if you’re just looking to do that for fun… plentiful parking and easy to walk on Lower H road… (toward Lahaina-direction).

The pictures are a true resemblance of the view. Good appliances and the kitchen met all out needs. Very prompt to answer our questions. Nice that they supplied beach chairs. Nearby rental location (across the street) for any other beach needs (Umbrellas etc) was very convenient. Enjoyed our dinner each night on the patio watching the sun set between Lanai and Moloka'i.
View from the bedroom will be hard to beat. Good linens. We didn't use the pool, but the BBQ's were clean and modern.

This unit is well appointed. The Kitchen has plenty of pans and glasses, blender, coffee maker etc. A nice touch was two new Tommy beach chairs! Bed was comfortable. I don’t even remember if there is AC, because the design allows the trades to blow through. The unit is at the end of the building so very quiet. Sliding glass doors in both the living room and bedroom are a plus with ceiling fans even if you close the door to the hall… it is still very pleasant. I was able to negotiate a late check out as my flight was not till 830PM. W/D in the unit was also great as I was volunteering while there and needed to wash a couple of times. If there is a negative: pool isn’t like most “resort” pools but is not busy. As mentioned in other reviews, the non-slip strips in the tub could be replaced. They are difficult to clean and keep fresh and are showing that. Again… this a fabulous rental at a good price!
I learned the most incredible way to fall asleep each night - by the sound of ocean waves right outside your door! The views in the photos are for real - the great big beautiful blue ocean is in front of you when you eat out on the lanai and when you go to bed and wake up. You might even catch a breaching whale or a spout - I did! We absolutely recommend Valley Isle Resort and would love to stay there again. It’s also right down the road from some of the best snorkeling on the island!

You can't go wrong with Valley Isle. 3rd time I have stayed there. Very Relaxing. Maybe just get rid of the gas leaf blowers and use a broom.
