All I can say is this house is very comfortable and in an excellent location. We were thrilled with our selection. I only had one small complaint. We had a long flight then had to wait 4 hours from arrival to check in ( not anyone’s fault ) but we were very tired. When we arrived at the home it was very very hot inside, none of the Aircondition units had been turned on which just added to the frustration and exhaustion. I had asked for a possible hour early check in but never received a response. Aside from that all was very good. I would stay there again.
This property is spectacular. The owners clearly put a lot of care into the finishes. The location could not have been more ideal. It was a quick walk to the beach without being too close to be kept up at night by the chickens. There is a beautiful Lanai with a huge wooden table. This property is perfect if you have 5 or less people, and don't plan on having anyone else stop by. I call this out explicitly as the max allowed on the property is 5 people. We had 2 groups on vacation. One family staying here and another family staying 4 minutes away walking. The second day, we all came here to eat dinner together outside. We made sure that there were no more than 5 people in the house at a time, but I had sent a message to the property manager to confirm that this wouldn't be a problem again. And they reemphasize that it was really the property, not just the house. I can absolutely respect the owners' rules. As I said, the care put into building this property is very evident. If we were to have a large group again split like we did this time, we would reconsider staying here. But with just our smaller family, we would absolutely stay here again.
This house was perfect for our family trip. It is ideally located within a very short walk to the beach and you can hear the waves crashing from inside at night. The outside lanai with beautiful wood table was the ideal place to enjoy any time of the day. The house itself was well equipped with everything you will need for your stay (the beach towels, chairs, and umbrella were especially appreciated). I highly recommend this property!

Leipiha ke Aloha has ample space, inside and out. It’s in an ideal location to walk to Poipu’s popular beaches. Brennecke’s Beach Broiler and Puka Dog are also a short walk away. We ate all our meals at the beautiful custom wood table outside on the lanai—so nice! The home was very clean and the kitchen well-equipped. Garden Island Rentals kindly accommodated our last-minute request for an extra hour at check-out which was very helpful. We had a minor maintenance request during our visit which was handled promptly and pleasantly—in fact, all communication with Garden Island, from start-to-finish, was terrific.A few things to note: an ideal location for you means it’s also a popular destination for others, hence, the walkway just beyond the lanai is highly traveled by a lot of people, day and night, making the space feel less private than some might like. If rain is forecasted at night and you’re a light sleeper, close the windows before turning in, as heavy rain on the metal roof makes considerable noise. Not a complaint, but a fact: the beds are very firm, which is great for many, but not for us (though the linens were soft and the pillows quite comfortable). The long and short of it, which is largely based on bed comfort, we would definitely rent from Garden Island Rentals again, but not this home.

Our family enjoyed five fabulous nights in this new, comfortable house just a short walk from Brennecke and Poipu Beaches. The property manager was communicative and responsive by email and text leading up to and throughout our stay. The house itself was clean, well equipped including beach chairs and umbrella, and plenty roomy for our family of four, including two teenagers.
Poipu itself is such a great location, with nice beaches, convenient walking trails, good restaurants, and reasonable driving distances to everything on the east and west sides of Kauia, including Waimea Canyon, the Ne'Pali Coast boat tours, and the airport. Pro tip: don't miss the pork grilled cheese sandwiches at Porky's in Waimea.
