Our family has stayed at Kamaole Sands many times, a first in this unit. The location of the complex and this unit are amazing, very close to the beach and great views from the large balcony. We would not recommend this unit as it has been extremely neglected. It is very run down, dated and dirty - mostly from a maintenance perspective which makes it hard to provide a ‘clean’ space (stained carpet, chipped/painted fridge, walls chipped and filthy throughout, doors damaged etc). The oven did not work so we only cooked at the outdoor BBQs. The listing also did not mention having anything available for babies so we rented from an outside company and when we arrived they had a pack n play and safety gates for the stairs in the closet - it would have been nice to know this as we spent a lot on renting these items.

It was a great vacation
We stayed in unit 10-405 and absolutely loved our stay. The condo was spacious, had a great view for morning coffee and evening cocktails, it was quiet and had easy access to the beach and road nearby. The grounds and facilities are well maintained and the staff is very friendly. We can't wait to come back.

This condo has a beautiful view of the ocean which is within five minutes of walking distance. The condo itself needs some attention. The floor fan in the bedroom was so dirty along with the window shutters that were covered in dust. The bedroom floor was also dirty and poorly vacuumed.The overall condition of the living room furniture was poor. Not a piece of furniture was comfortable or very clean. There were many ants in the kitchen. Judging from the ant traps, this is an ongoing problem. Lastly, providing guests with decent toilet paper would have been nice. Clearly the owners are more interested in making a buck by cutting corners. It’s a nice place but needs some deep cleaning and TLC.
Loved our stay and loved the unit. The view from the lanai is fantastic.
So far check in not so good. Sign on shower says “broken please do not use”. I will update this if/when Mgmt company makes it right.
The unit was very clean, the view from the terrace and the location within the development excellent. The air conditioning unit was totally inadequate and did not cool the unit. We were with a group of 12 other unit renters and all other units had much better AC units and kept their premises cool. The 1 and only wall unit in this unit is totally undersized to the point the room never got cooler than 85 degrees Fahrenheit
