Overall was very happy with this unit. Would absolutely stay here again. My only suggestion was for them to provide more supportive pillows. But loved this place!
This was a wonderful place to whale watch! The views of the ocean, waves, and turtles were amazing from the spacious lanai and living room. Secluded private entrance. Grounds are beautifully landscaped. It had everything we needed and extras like the brita water filter, cooler with ice blocks, 2 beach chairs and umbrella! Definitely the best place on Maui!
The property was excellent and charming. Clean and well appointed, easy communication with property manager (Miranda).We watched whales breach regularly from our room, and sea turtles swimming just below us in the water. We will definitely be looking to stay here again.My only warning would be if you are sensitive to light when sleeping, bring a sleep mask because one of the bedroom windows looks out into a stairwell that is constantly lit (and the light bleeds through the blinds). Black-out curtains here would be an easy property improvement.
Miranda was a great communicator. Unit was clean and had the basic essentials. The grounds were prestige. Staff was nice.
We love staying at Kuleana and have stayed at this property multiple times. It feels so private, tranquil, and friendly compared to some of the other larger resorts. This was our first time on vacation with our 8-month-old infant and this unit exceeded our expectations! It has a fantastic direct oceanfront view and the largest one-bedroom we’ve stayed in with plenty of room for the pack n play in the bedroom. Miranda was the best host, so quick to respond and accommodating. I would stay here on any trip to Maui in a heartbeat.
Really had a great time! The property is tucked back and away from the beaten path! It felt like its own little piece of the island. Communication was great during the questions about the area reopening after such a terrible loss due to fires. That being said, this property was physically unaffected. We will be back on our next trip to West Maui!!
We loved our stay! Each morning we loved the glorious views from the back deck of the ocean, Molokai and Lanai. The property manager was very good at communication. The condo was advertised with everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped for all the cooking we did. We also enjoyed the wonderful pool, ping pong and shuffleboard. We saw many turtles in the water while on our deck and from the beach in front of the condo. We would definitely recommend this property.
Good location, and a beautiful view from lanai. The resort itself is very nice, but this particular unit could use a facelift.
