It’s been years since we stayed at the Kuleana and were pleasantly surprised with the updated unit and beautiful landscape at this location. We explored the beach out front and enjoyed snorkeling and cooling off in the ocean. Pool was pristine and refreshing to take an evening swim The views from the unit were amazing, the living space was nicely arranged and furnishings were clean and modern. Shower was great and we really enjoyed an air conditioned bedroom! We much prefer a smaller resort rather than a mega hotel where you have to pay extra for parking and then have to wander through lobbies and elevators to get to your room. The Kuleana was perfect for our tropical home away from home!!

Great location and great property… property managers are a bit picky as I got a warning ticket from parking a bit on the white line of a parking spot… other than that my stay here was great!

Very central area shopping and resorts were near, beautiful grounds on kuleana sight..we enjoyed the grills provided to cook our meals 4 in all..sea turtles and whales to watch off our lanai..we will stay again...

We always have a special time at the Kuleana. It’s hard to beat the close up view of turtles and beautiful sunsets. The unit was comfortable and had all the basics you need. We have stayed at the Kuleana many times and will be back!

We went to Maui with snorkeling in mind, and after much research chose the Kuleana resort for proximity to some of Maui’s best snorkeling spots. Much to our surprise, the snorkeling within the resort was some of the best we did! Saw amazing turtles and fish and even an eel!

Knowing the area well, it was exactly what we had hoped for. A cozy little suite with spectacular view and wonderful location. Unfortunately there is very little beach at the moment, but that’s the shifting sand and winter storm’s fault, not the complex’s. The grounds were beautifully maintained, and the staff were terrific. It was exactly what we wanted.
