we rented 4 units and this was one of them. our family was all in maui for thanksgiving week so it was all very accommodating for us. the pool although not big was perfect size for our kids to have lots of fun. the ocean just steps away was also good and felt safe to have the kids play in becasue of the double reef protection. lots of turtles and beautiful view. very intimate place would definitely stay here on this property again.

We feel like we are coming home at the Kulakane, the privacy, the view, the water access, location, atmosphere... we just keep coming back! Even the management treats us like family!Be sure to check out the Friday night pupu parties and take part in the nightly conch shell blowing at sunset!

We've stayed at the Kulakane on numerous visits. Unit 114 is our favorite because of size and local. Furniture is badly out dated, carpet as well, recliner broken, exhaust fan broken etc. Dishes, plates, utensils all need replaced. Will book again if fixed up.
