The family had a wonderful time. We have been coming here for many years. However, some of the "Aloha Spirit" seemed to be missing. The blowing of the conch and Friday pupu party was missing and everyone was looking forward to it.
Daily sunsets from our ground floor patio, the sound of waves 24/7, condo had all the basic necessities, comfy bed, daily turtle sightings out front, small town feel… totally relaxing time for us! Might get a bit warm in the afternoon but there’s an extra electric fan, or open the door to let the breeze through. Overall, it fit the needs of my husband and myself.

Enjoyed the condo - well supplied, neat, and enjoyable. Would have appreciated a kettle/ equipment to heat water. I drink hot water and used a saucepan.

we rented 4 units and this was one of them. our family was all in maui for thanksgiving week so it was all very accommodating for us. the pool although not big was perfect size for our kids to have lots of fun. the ocean just steps away was also good and felt safe to have the kids play in becasue of the double reef protection. lots of turtles and beautiful view. very intimate place would definitely stay here on this property again.
Right on the water—the ocean is closer than it appears in the pics. The condo is small but the view is priceless. A rainbow of colors every night!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at The Kulakane in April 2024. Warm welcome with our family name and city of origin on the wipe board. Beautiful sunsets in the evening with Conche shells blowing at our and neighboring properties. The visiting turtles were truly remarkable and I haven't seen this many turtles in Maui for a long time. Quiet, clean, relaxing and beautiful. Would definitely recommend.

This was our 11th stay at The Kulakane. We love it! The management (Debbie Reynells & Tony Quin are exceptional.)Our rental condo was well equipped, the grounds well maintained, and traditional pupu gatherings introduced new friends. The size of the complex blends well with sharing travel experiences. The ocean front view is spectacular with what & turtle sightings every day.

Our stay at KulaKane Unit 104 was amazing! The property was very clean, it was fully stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, had beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, cooler, and beach towels which we used everyday! The location was great, just 5-15 drive to great beach’s such as Kaanapali, Napili,Kapalua,Slaughterhouse, and Honolua. There are great restaurants just just a few minutes drive in either direction, a couple of our favorites were Java Jazz which also has nightly music, super cool Morrocan BoHo vibe. Also, The Beach House and The Fish Market had amazing seafood! The best plate lunch is at the Honolua Store which is at the golf course in Kapalua!😋 We loved sitting out on the lanai with cocktails and watching the sunset and listening to the waves. We are will definitely stay here next year. Mahalo to the friendly staff, you guys rock!🌴🤙❤️
