Nice big house for our group. Neighborhood is sketchy but house itself was nice. BEWARE - only portable ac unit in living room. Bedrooms super hot even with ceiling and tower fan. We had some people so hot, they slept on the couch in living room instead of the bedrooms. Had dirty sheets on 1 bed and no tv in unit.Host (property mgr) was very responsive before booking then less responsive after booking.Probably will not be staying again due to no ac unless we come in December or January.
We love the space in the house for all of us to have our own rooms for reasonable price. The owners are responsive and look out for us. We like the grill and ability to prepare our own meals. Close to grocery store to replenish supplies.
The house was hot the even at nighttime and we opened windows also it’s not a fifteen minute walk to the beach
The property was great and the host was very nice. She provided some Christmas decorations and we had fun decorating. Hawaii is very beautiful and the house was in a good location. Loved it. We all had a great time.
We took our family to Hawaii as a celebration and there was plenty of room for all of us. We each had our own bedrooms, and the bathrooms were plentiful. It was nice to have a washer and dryer on the premises. As other reviewers have said, it didn't have central air. Very few homes on the island seemed to have it. There were fans in each room which helped at night. We did see a bug or two in the house, but there were hundreds outside, so that didn't surprise us. It was a great location for groceries, restaurants by the pier, and even a pharmacy when we needed it. It was easy to get to our snorkeling and manta ray excursion. We had two rental cars and we were able to park both of them in the driveway. There were beach supplies that we borrowed. We really appreciated the coolers so we could pack a lunch and take it the day we needed it. Overall, it was a great location and great house that provided us with the ability to be with our family, yet have private rooms in case we needed some time away from our family.
We had plenty of private and communal space to rest and hang out with each other. We like being so close to town, so we don't always have to drive each time we went out.
The house was great. We all enjoyed our 3-night stay. The one complaint is that the travel crib (in the listing) was broken. We rented the house in part because we were travelling with a 2-year-old and the listing said there is a travel crib. With no travel crib, we would not have rented the house. When we found the crib, the mattress was missing and the frame was broken on two sides. It was unusable. We contacted Jeri immediately and she gave us the name of a place that would deliver one the next day.....if we wanted to rent one. She flatly refused to pay for the rental. I don't blame her for having a broken crib; perhaps the last renter broke it. However, I expect the host to provide what is promised.
We only stayed one night but it was perfect. The property manager was very helpful and kind.

We were a group of 10 and this house was great for us. We had plenty of room for everyone and it was close to shopping, beaches and a beautiful view. We would definitely recommend this house
The house was perfect for our family reunion. The entire house suited our needs for space and sleeping arrangements. The house was spotless and well supplied too. Thank you!
Our stay was great. It was frustrating at the start to not have an address. Once we got there, the accommodations worked great for our whole family.
This property was perfect for us, our adult children & our grandchildren. We walked down to the pier each of the evenings that we were in Kona to view the beautiful sunsets. There was a grocery store just a few blocks away & restaurants downtown.
Huge house with room enough for our entire extended family (7 adults and 3 kids). The upstairs living room was very airy and comfortable. Lots of room for people to spread out and not be on top of each other in between excursions. Very close to downtown.
Each family unit had their own space. Worked great
