Love the location of the condo! The view was spectacular! Bruce was great with communication. My only concern was the cleanliness of the kitchen and bathroom.
We really enjoyed our stay at Bruce's condo. It was exactly as depicted and described. Everything we needed for our five night stay was provided, there were even snorkel gear and boogie boards for our use. The balcony was wonderful, we spent a lot of time out there enjoying the view of the surf.

This places was amazing it had lots of extras, beach items, kitchen accessories, spices. Short walk to town. We loved this place and will def come back.

The property is tired and in need of lots of lip stick ( paint, loose walkway tiles. When you run this many people through a condo complex it requires a commitment to maintain it at a desirable level. This high level of commitment is absent at Kona Reef. If you have to say the words “it’s not that bad”, it needs work and is that bad. If the property condition matched its location with ocean front living It would be a winner. Tough love from an honest guest
Walking distance to many great restaurants big plus. Beautiful view for sunsets. Loved all the extras for beach, such as chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and more! Would definitely return! Well stocked kitchen also very helpful!
The view is AMAZING! The owners were responsive and gave us lots of information about the condo and the area. They were available if more information was needed.
The condo is nicely updated with all the basics you need to start your vacation. Already had paper towels, dishwasher tabs, zipper bags, spices, some condiments, etc... The bed was comfortable. There was plenty of storage. We also liked that there was Chromcast as well as a cable tv option. The complex is very well maintained and has a lovely pool and grill area. We have stayed at the Kona Reef resort previously and this condo is one of the best in the complex.
The location of this condo is also a big plus! You can walk to town where you will find restaurants, bars, boutiques, shave ice, gelato and so much more.
We hope to return again soon!
Great patio, nothing between it and the shoreline. Sunset over the water. The unit was fine, bring coffee. Small rocky beach next to the property, good for getting wet. Pool area is nice. Surfing out front most days. Nothing really walkable.

Overall the condo felt like our little home on the Big Island! We were very impressed with the location and the views from the oceanfront balcony were amazing! Also we really appreciated all of the stuff available in the condo - beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, appliances, washer/dryer - everything we needed for a great vacation! The area had so many great things within walking distance - restaurants, shopping and the farmers market (and Walmart/Costco was a short drive!). Also the host was super quick to respond to our request and other questions. A great place to stay!

The complex has a nice pool, hot tub, and grill area that we enjoyed using. The condo itself is updated and had everything we needed in the kitchen and laundry for a week’s stay (and longer of only we could). The complex is a short walking distance to downtown Kailua-Kona restaurants, shops, and bars, and there is a beautiful little public beach next door.

Couldn’t ask for a better view on the private lanai located in walking distance to many of the stores and restaurants. The condo had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (14 days), including pool and hot tub on site. A great little beach right next door. Watched spinner dolphins while drinking our morning coffee right from the lanai!

We stayed for 5 nights in Bruce’s condo in Kona-Kailua. It was well equipped with everything we needed to make our trip comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. We got use of the pool on several occasions. Restraunts and shops within walking distance. The view is spectacular! I

5 Star Stay! Location is beautiful, waves constantly breaking, views are spectacular! Super clean, quiet and absolutely everything you need is in this condo. The beach chairs are able to hold a lot and are a joy to use. Property is beautifully and quietly maintained, along with the sparkling pool and grill areas. This will be your new get away place in Kona! Great communication with the owner, lots of information and everything we needed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
