Excellent location and view of the ocean. Shops and restaurants were within walking distance. Communication with the host was excellent making check in and out a snap. I highly recommend this property.

This oceanfront, ground floor unit was spectacular. Absolutely gorgeous views off of the lanai, and a 2-3 min walk to restaurants, bars, in town. Outstanding pool facility, loved the entire property. Will definitely be back again. Unit was well equipped, everything in great condition, and the communication was great from start to finish. On-site parking. Can’t say enough good things.

We stayed here with our 5 and 7 year old and it was a perfect setup. It had all the kitchen amenities you need and it was clean and well taken care of. We would definitely stay here again. Loved being right on the water. Definitely recommend!
We had an absolutely amazing vacation! The high light of our stay was the condo. Perfect location to all the shops and shopping down Alii drive, the sunset views….omg you can’t get any better at any other location! We were there over Christmas and New years and really enjoyed the location. Love that the Kona Reef is really chill and peaceful. By far just sitting on the gorgeous lanai and reading and watching the waves and relaxing was the high light of our trip! Don’t hesitate on this one!! We’re already looking at booking again next year!
Had a wonderful 6 night stay at Kona Coast. Had one small issue with the unit smelling a bit of mold, however, after speaking g to the management, they came out and cleaned out the air filter to the AC unit and the problem was resolved. Thank you for the quick action.
This was our 3rd stay at the Kona Reef and the best condo so far. Clean. Gorgeous view of the sunset from the patio each night. Bed actually firm-ish! Beds in Hawaii are usually terrible and saggy but this mattress must be newer. Very happy about that. The only concern is that as of our stay this week first week of September there is construction in the unit next door. I’m talking table saw on the patio and drilling cabinets into the wall directly attached to our bedroom starting at 8:15 AM. We booked in May when it wasn’t noted of construction starting in July. To the property manager’s credit they had a very quick response to my concern when we arrived and refunded us a little bit to help resolve things. It’s not their fault this is still going on. But that said, do not book a stay here if you want peace and quiet and only to hear the ocean until you can confirm the construction is over with. I have nothing but positive things to say about the property manager or the unit otherwise and will try to book it again next year!

I can't think of anything about this vacation rental that could have made it better - perfect location (on the beach and within walking distance to Kona Village) perfect size, beautifully decorated, lovely hot tub and pool and very friendly people. I'm sure it's the best vacation rental we've ever had.
Comfortable, clean condo with amazing ocean views and well located to walk to downtown. Do note the description about the high bed. It is really high.
We’ve been to the Kona Reef four times. It’s our preferred accommodation for the location, amenities and atmosphere. A6 was the loveliest appointed of the three apartments at which we’ve stayed in Kona Reef. The appliances were all new or in perfect working order and there is AC in the bedroom as well are the living areas. We would definitely return. The only thing we would add is a lighted makeup mirror as the lighting in the bathroom is not the best for that sort of thing. But after a couple of days in the sun who needs makeup? Aloha.

We loved Kona Reef. The unit is oceanfront, ground floor. We loved waking up, drinking coffee, sitting out on the lanai, and watching the waves, boats and friendly people pass by. We walked to town often to grab breakfast, dinner or other items we needed. There was no cooking on this trip with so many good restaurants close by. The location was perfect.
The unit had everything we needed. We did purchase our own pool towels and then found the ones in the unit on the 3rd day.
We will return to Kona Reef!
