My family and I stayed at this wonderful home for a few days at the start of our trip. It was in the perfect location, spacious, and the pool was perfect for an evening swim after adventuring around the island. They have everything—extra pool towels, beach supplies, and pool toys! The hosts were also super responsive to any questions I had and was so kind to let us have an early check-in AND late check-out, given their calendar. I would absolutely stay here again!

Our whole family agreed that this was the best family vacation we've ever taken and it was in large part due to our stay at this beautiful rental. The property itself is beautiful, safe, and clean. Whenever I arrive to a rental/hotel, I always clean first. This is the first time that I didn't need to clean and that alone is impressive (for me). The owners of this home have truly thought of everything- it felt like a home away from home. The pool was a favorite for my youngest, but it was all wonderful- grilling on the patio, watching a movie in the living room, and being in such a perfect location for everything on the island.I must personally thank Sean and Anjali for sharing their beautiful home with us and for their kind generosity. My husband set the bar high in requesting a birthday surprise for his 40th and he was blown away. Thank you!
This is the best VRBO I have stayed at so far.It is clean, comfortable, and comes with everything you could need, from pool toys to rice cooker.
This is one of the best properties we have ever stayed at through VRBO. The gated community was easy to access and central to all of our excursions around the Kona-Kailua area. The property is phenomenal - very clean, and with all of the amenities you would require. The welcome snacks and information was a wonderful surprise for a family with teens and kids.The rooms were spacious and beds very comfortable.The highlight was the backyard - private with an unbelievable pool with great lighting and it was where we spent all of our time while at the house.There was also a bunch of toys/equipment that we were able to use at the beach - chairs, umbrellas, bodysurfing boards and snorkel equipment.A experience and we would definitely stay again when we come back.
Sean and Anjali’s home is the most ideal property for a visit to Kona if you’re looking for a fully equipped kitchen to cook your own meals, the privacy of having your own pool and hot tub, and proximity to all itineraries on the western part of Big Island. We traveled as a multigenerational family of grandparents, parents, and young kids and every one of us enjoyed our stay. We brought a lot of our own pre-cooked frozen meals so we could focus more on daily outings and adventures. We greatly appreciated that the house was well stocked with everything we needed for beach days and had plenty of towels and accessories/games for a stay with kids. Thank you for hosting us and we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Pool was great. Hot tub relaxing. Decent ocean view considering the location in the neighborhood. The flowers on the property made for a nice photo backdrop and they smelled good too.
The property has everything that a large family needs to enjoy a Kona vacation. Well equipped kitchen, lots of beach supplies, and a beautiful outdoor space to enjoy and relax.
The only item that would make the stay even better would be more stable beds in the smaller bedrooms. Two adults sleeping on those beds is a bit wobbly.

We could not ask for anything more with our accommodations at the Kona House of Palms. The experience from booking to check out was smooth. All possible needs of a vacationing family, the owners have thought about and made available in the home. The house has plenty of useful stuff from board games, pool toys, rice cooker, and hair straightener… the house has it all. Our hosts have been very prompt and responsive which is a true testament to amazing service. The stove broke on our first night but the hosts made sure this was replaced the next day! The home is a great setting to relax and sit back to enjoy the pool and home cooked meals with family. We will always treasure the happy memories we made at this amazing place.
This property was just as advertised. It was really great. Super super clean!!!!! The patio/pool/hot tub were amazing. Really beautiful and super useful backyard. The lighting setup and fountain were very cool and fun! Fantastic location. Gated community added to feeling of friendliness/exclusivity. Lots of people out walking in neighborhood — everyone waved hello as we drove by. Communication with Sean was exceptional. I would rate this property /experience 100/100.
This place is amazing! We loved staying here. The location is great. The pool was wonderful. The house is clean, beautiful, and comfortable. The owners were quick to respond and helpful. I would highly recommend this house. I would definitely stay there again.
This house is awesome!! The neighborhood and location was picture perfect! The house is pristine! The back yard and pool was the perfect place to relax! We loved it! Wish we could have stayed longer!
Everything about this house was fabulous. The home was spotlessly clean, the furnishings are new, the beds were comfortable (my in-laws even took note of the brand), and the kitchen was well stocked (including a basket of snacks on arrival). We had plenty of space for five adults. The outdoor space is gorgeous and was a family favorite. The pool was warm, clean, and even has a waterfall. I wish we could have stayed longer.
House was super stocked with chairs, beach mats, boogie board and towels. The pool was fun and we swam in it everyday.
There was even a basket on the counter for us filled with snacks!
The only negative is before we got in the front door, my wife and children were bit multiple times by mosquitos. Luckily, the property had big spray and candles and the bugs were only bad in the morning and sunset. Otherwise, the bugs were tolerable.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. House inside and outside was delightful. Pool and hot tub were appreciated. Morning walks in the neighborhood and down to the main road below the neighborhood were great. Tips on what to do and where to go from Sean and Anjali were excellent! Looking forward to coming back.

This was like our own private resort with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We spent most of our time in the pool and watching the awesome birds and lizards in the area. Highly recommend!
We had amazing time . Beautiful property! Quiet neighborhood. Unbelievably clean! It had all the amenities you can think of. Pool was so refreshing after a day of golf. We are looking forward to next year‘s trip and staying at this property. 5 + stars!
This was a fantastic house! The pool was tops! Can’t wait to stay here again.
