It was difficult to carry my luggage up the stairs, but the room and the view from the window were very nice. I'll be back here again next year.

Besides the easy walk to town and view of the ocean, when I opened the door to this place I felt a soothing calm. The kitchen was well supplied for cooking, making coffee or a pot of rice. It was nice to see the sunset and watch the ocean activities through the day. The bed was very comfortable. There was a little ukulele which I can tune not play! The bathroom was small but had good space and was very clean.

Floor is peeling. Washer smelled like something died in it online picture led me to believe there was a useable balcony! Wrong. Barely standing room. Uncomfortable chairs. My biggest problem was NO ELEVATOR. At 75 carrying 2 40# bags up 3 flights of stairs was terrible. Had to pay a neighborhood boy to take up and bring them down! Vacuum was a joke. Needed a broom and dust pan! Location and view were good and bed was decent. Kitchen was very well equipped!

We stayed in this updated condo for a few days so we were conveniently located to walk into town for shopping and restaurants. It worked out great. Be aware it is on the 3rd floor with no elevator. This was not a problem for us. It is not fancy but clean and well stocked for a short stay. There is not a balcony to sit outside. Only a sliding glass door with a tiny balcony to stand on. Rental company was very responsive and available to help.
The property location and spectacular views from the condo were exceptional. The condo was very clean and found it exactly like the photos. Well appointed kitchen. Living area including bedroom area and adjacent bathroom were beautifully decorated. Could not open the sliding glass door on the lanai to let in breeze. We were not given the correct address for the condo in our paperwork supplied to us. Had difficulty locating condo as address given was the Knutson office. Very quiet unit and building. Downside was the walk up to the third floor unit using the outside stairs, especially carrying luggage. The tree frogs were very noisy starting at dusk and throughout the night but we got used to them. Wonderful views on two different days of a cruise ship anchored off Kona and viewed through our patio window. Loved the shops and restaurants within a short walking distance. Would rent this unit on a return trip.

Really loved the ocean view property. It was like a dream :)
Be sure to read the fine print: after you book, you will be required to fill out a 16 page rental agreement before you can actually stay. After you arrive, you then need to fill out a contact information sheet to give to “the manager”. There aren’t super clear instructions where to find or turn in the form. Also, while I typically appreciate communication from a host, this particular unit is managed by a group (Knutson and Associates) who called to check-in on my stay, then asked if I was interested in viewing properties for sale in the area. Not my ideal pastime on vacation…
Overall, the property is nice and clean (although it boasts newly renovated, but has laminate flooring with broken seams, so probably hasn’t been renovated super recently). The chore list is minimal (wash dishes and take out trash). The location is very close to downtown and many restaurants. If you don’t mind dealing with a property management group, then I would recommend staying here. If you are interested in renting from an individual, then this probably isn’t the right place for you.

Small, cute studio with everything you need: fully functional kitchen w/ pots, pans, utensils, etc, comfy king bed, towels, even some beach gear which was a pleasant surprise. Smart TV, washer/dryer, and dishwasher. A really well outfitted condo, just a short walk to oceanfront restaurants and bars.We stayed a full week and loved it. Only wished there was a vacuum/broom so we could fight back against the sand we tracked in from the beautiful Kona shore!

Cute little condo located just of famous Ali’i Dr in Kona was perfect as a home base for my husband and I to explore the island. The condo had everything we needed to enjoy the beach! Owners provided beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, and snorkel gear. We had a great time. Condo was a short walk from restaurants and shops on Ali’i Drive, making it perfect to enjoy an evening out. Ocean views from the balcony were also great for sunsets.

Great location. Easy walking to bars, restaurants and shops, but just around the corner from hustle and bustle of Ali'i. Fantastic ocean view. Watched whales all day long.Comfortable and well-appointed.Management super-responsive.Only negative were the stairs. ;-)
So appreciated that they had the lights and TV on when I arrived after dark. Internet instructions were clearly posted. Place had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Nice view from dining seating for enjoying sunsets, cruise ships, parasailers..... Great location for walks through town restaurants, shops and mini beaches. Enjoyed the pool - usually had it all to myself. Highly recommend unless you are not up for many stairsteps in your coming and going.

It was a very rewarding vacation with my wife of 49 years . Condo had everything that we needed . washer dryer nice . View was perfect . Area many shops restaurants . The only issue was one ,and that is no elevators which would help with older travelers like my wife ,and myself. At age 75 and 72 a elevator would have eliminated stress from dragging luggage up to 301 on the third floor
Clean and very inviting! On arrival the room smelled fresh and clean. The view out the big glass door was awesome. Had everything we would need. Management was awesome to deal with, they would keep in touch to make sure everything was well and working and if something wasn’t. Great place to stay on the big island!
