This property was absolutely amazing! While the house was very technologically integrated, we were able to operate most household items without difficulty with the exception of range in the kitchen, and we therefore used outdoor gas cooktop on the grill, which worked fine. View, privacy, and outdoor pool couldn’t have been better. It felt like our private resort. There was undergoing construction on both neighboring houses which we were informed of prior to booking however, this was minimally noticeable. What truly stood out was the property manager’s willingness to help us during the tsunami evacuation. She and her family went above and beyond to ensure that we did not have to go to one of the local shelters for protection. One recommendation is to have lighting in the pool area by the lounge chairs. There is landscape lighting, inside pool lighting, and a motion spotlight for the stairs.
This exquisite property accommodated three families which included six adults three children for 10 days. The location is an easy walk to Magic sands beach or a short drive to down town historic Kona. Perfect for family gathering the beautiful sunsets over the ocean were the perfect backdrop for a much needed vacation and priceless family time. Thank you for the best vacation we’ve had in many years.
This is a beautiful home that is perfect for multigenerational family vacations. The views of the ocean from the lanai, kitchen, dining, and family room, and the master bath are incredible. The concierge for the home, Anne, was awesome! She picked up our grocery order from Safeway and delivered to the house before we arrived. She was available to text/call anytime we needed anything. There were 2 washer/dryer sets, one upstairs and one downstairs! Can't say enough good things about this rental! Loved it!

I am very satisfied with the location, the facilities, and the friendliness of the owner.The only thing was that the access code sent by the site operator was different from the WiFi password, so we had to contact the owner several times, but other than that we were able to spend a wonderful time just by ourselves. There is a supermarket nearby, so we were able to spend a comfortable time here, and we highly recommend this place.
We had done an exhaustive search for a property that would allow all 10 of us to stay without tripping over one another.We felt confident that this property would fit the bill and it didn't disappoint. From the beautiful pool to the fact you are oceanside every possible thing you could want from a property like this delivers. The kitchen, the lanai's and the sound of the ocean lapping against the shore was nothing short of perfect.Anne, you are a great host and thank you for your suggestions on places to see and go. We enjoyed all the technology in the house. The views out the windows were spectacular. Plenty of room for our family of 8.
While the house kept what it promised it was annoying, that the construction work took place the whole week on both sites directly neighboring our house. Heavy machinery busy with excavations have been our daily "company" which was not very pleasant.
Besides that, for somebody not permanently living in the house the smart home solutions / electrification was rather a pain than a blessing.
We absolutely loved it! When you go to a house many times the amenities are slightly less than perfect. That was not the case with this home. Plenty of space to get away, and plenty of space for large gatherings. The pool and ocean side location Made for an enjoyable stay. Especially listening to the waved rolling in at night when laying in bed. The range of activities in the Kona area or excellent, and we even visited a shopping place called Coconut Grove… Considering more from Coconut Grove, Florida we felt like it was a home away from home. We would definitely recommend this home.
We stayed at this house for 10 days and the property is amazing. Been to Kona a dozen times and staying on the ocean was the first time. Favorite place is the Lanai watching the waves!!!
The house is very high tech with the lights and blinds. For those not familar with Crestron, every button is programmed and can be confusing. Took about 2 days to learn the which buttons were what especially in the dark, but we managed it.
The QR Code for the burners in kitchen was great and would be very beneficial to others to do a YouTube video on the lights and how to reset the buttons at the bottom of the switch panel if needed.
The property managers were great and responded quick for any issues we had. Enjoyed our stay
Beautiful and quiet. Easy parking. Great pool A/c needs improvement. Light switches difficult to figure out.
We have been coming to the Big Island for years, but staying at this house was one of our best experiences.
The fantastic setting on the Kona coast with beautiful sunsets from both lanai and the sound of soothing surf was so relaxing. The state of-art amenities, with generous refrigeration space, and luxury appointments in each bedroom suite are a tribute to the owner/architect’s flare for practical but luxurious design. The waterfall and walkway in the courtyard were unique; the sitting areas on the main floor and pool area were the family’s favorite. The short walk to the lava/coral coastline was a bit rough but worth the view.
Located close to beaches, restaurants and shopping made everyone happy. The VRBO description and pictures were right-on. Most of all: Anne, the concierge, was most helpful and appreciated. She quickly responded to all our calls and questions and gave helpful instructions. The welcome centerpiece of Hawaiian fruits and snacks was unexpected and greatly appreciated.

This was the perfect place for 4 couples to spend a relaxing week! Amazing house with all of the amenities we needed and beautiful views. We spent most of our time on the lanai- views and comfort were beyond what we expected. The host was amazing, even offering to stock starter groceries for us. If we needed anything, she or her husband responded right away. The house was spacious, each couple had ample privacy. The house is set up all on remote technology. While this was very modern and cool, sometimes a little hard to figure out for us Gen X and Boomers! Haha. Loved the entire stay and would rent again in a heart beat!
This was a great home. Conveniently located. Kitchen was very well stocked with cooking utensils and appliances. We had a family of 10 and it accommodated us beautifully. Terrific pool and the view off the deck was amazing. Our concierge (Anne) was wonderful. The hot water heater went out on our first day and she got it fixed in short order. Would highly recommend this!
