We have stayed at this complex for many years but this is the first time using VRBO. The lanai is ocean front and hands down has the best view in Kona. The ceiling fan on the lanai is fantastic. I planned the trip with my mom and booked the unit based on the description that there was a king size bed in the bedroom and a pull out sofa bed. The sofa bed was broken and not functional. I contacted AA Oceanfront Rentals and they were extremely attentive and accommodating. They did give a small refund for the unusable sofa bed. If the sofa bed was as described I would have given 5 stars. Sharing a bed with my mom was definitely not optimal.
We loved the sight and sound of the waves, an evening swim in the pool, the quiet but convenient location of this condo. We look forward to returning as soon as possible.
The oceanfront view is spectacular, as others have stated. The condo is comfortable and well stocked. Our main disappointment was the lanai furniture. There is a lovely teak dining table and chairs but nothing else. The chairs are not comfortable for long sitting and with the view we wanted to spend all our time on the lanai. There is plenty of room for a comfortable outdoor sofa or 2 chaise lounge chairs so renters could stretch out comfortably and watch the waves. We had to sit inside for this and the living room furniture is showing the wear from constant use. Otherwise, an enjoyable stay.
We stayed 7 weeks in July and August 2021. This is a nice property and well maintained. The view from the 407 lania is A+, as good as it gets. Nice size for 2 people. Comfortable unit and bed. Good kitchen area. A few improvements could be made such as better lighting for personal reading but all in all this is a good place and we hope to return. Nice people work the property. Enjoy!
Great location. Beautiful views. Complex is clean & well cared for. Well appointed with kitchen items, linens, comfortable bed w/ quality pillows. Very good tv & cable options.
My only complaint is that I believe it needs a deep cleaning.
Management company was very good at communicating & everything went as planned.
This is our home away from home two months a year. We love it!!
Bathtub/showers do not have safety bars.
Master bathroom and kitchen have poor lighting.
Wonderful landscaping, pool, and sand area with chairs and tables.
A quiet, relaxing, beautiful place.Balcony very nice. Would rent again.
The whole experience was awesome!!
Was the perfect place to stay on the big island! Our time here was the most relaxing vacation ever! We enjoyed the stay so much we booked a future rental.
