Absolutely horrible experience! Bed looked like someone just slept in it. Mold, fruit flies, garbage was still in the trash. Smelled moldy and musty. Nothing like the photos.
Although it looks old, the condo was very nice. We like all the conveniences of home. We saw other guests left their leftover condiments, spices, coffee filters, etc. We decided to leave our leftover bottle waters, beer, Starbucks coffee ground, etc.We wish there was an air conditioner in the bedroom.We could clearly hear arguments from neighbors every morning and all the rackets that went on the upstairs unit the last two days of our stay.There was no recycle bins for glass bottles, plastic or paper. We felt terrible having to throw away everything.The light cover came down on its own, after the fan was turned on. Thankfully nobody got hurt and nothing was broken. I figured out a way to secure it back properly.All appliances that we used, worked!
It was perfect! Perfect location, super clean condo with everything we needed for our stay. Great communication with the property managers. Will definitely stay again!

Great access to beaches and free parking. Walk across street to see ocean and beautiful sunsets. Lots of extras in closet of condo that were useful during our stay.
We stayed here two nights over Christmas. The host was responded quickly when we couldn’t find parking. It’s right across from a beach and we saw whales, dolphins, and lots of turtles. It’s close to tons of shops and amenities. Location can’t be beat. We loved it, very clean and quiet. Thanks Della and Tim!

Quiet location within Kona Bali Kai. Residence is comfortable, some updating would be beneficial. Really appreciated beach chairs etc. A larger lanai would have been nice.

Della's apartment was absolutely beautiful and located in such a central location to downtown Kona. Everything was a short drive away, and the beach is within walking distance! The facility has a pool and an amazing sunset view just across the street. The apartment was well stocked, with everything for cooking, cleaning, showering, washing clothes, etc....I would stay at Della's place again for my next trip to Kona.

Went for a baseball tournament and the property was a convenient distance from the park. Unit was clean and check in with host instructions was on target.
My family of 3 stayed here 4 nights. The property is clean. Having the beach stuff including towels to borrow is very convenient. The location are quiet even it is by road but you can barely hear a busy road. We will definitely book this again next time. Kona didn't disappoint us!! Till next time

Perfect for our adventure
This was a last minute stay on the island which worked out perfectly for my boys and myself!
Condo excellent condition with everything to enjoy your stay. Clean, quiet, easy access, perfect location.
This place had everything we needed during our stay in the Kona area. Lots of beach supplies and kitchenware, so we could easily pack our lunches before heading down to the beach. We found if we kept the blinds closed while we were out, and opened the windows upon return, we would get a good crossbreeze in the evenings. Sometimes we used the A/C, but it wasnt always necessary.
It was really private as there was a stairwell that separated only two condos on each floor. This is an end unit situated in the back corner of the property and also backed onto a greenspace.
We liked how the master bedroom faced this greenspace because it was on the cooler side of the building, and it is also open air (screened-in California shutters) so, you wake up to the sound of birdsong every morning and go to bed to the sight of the house lights on the hillside.
You can also catch the trollery every hour down the main town strip.
We would stay here again if we are fortunate enough to return to the Big Island.
Property was great. Access to the pool little difficult late hours.
It was a little more involved on parking, you just have to fill out a form and submit it to the right place across the street, which gave us just a bit of heartburn the first night as we arrived so late and soo tired. Some unmentioned good things were the grill on hand at the facility did a great job, was in good shape and fairly clean. Also the beach across the way is not quite a swimming beach, although people did go out into the water, but it was a great place to watch people practicing surfing and to watch sunsets at the end of the day.
Great to have a whole apartment right opposite the ocean. Lots of little extras in the apartment made it really nice. Bits in the fridge, beach things like chairs and umbrella, lunch boxes, bags, beach towels etc. Nice and clean and really good comms
My husband and myself had a great stay. Sure is the comfort of home. She had everything there that we needed. Enjoy the location and the communication. Thank you so much I’m going to tell my daughter about it so she can come to Kona and stay in your condo. I really enjoyed the pool and the access to the beach. I don’t have anything negative to say any body that stay here would have a good time.
