Unforgettable trip and memories on our family trip. Absolutely stunning condo with great pool/amenities right across the street. Owners were extremely responsive and helpful with easy to follow instructions to access the property. We sat outside just about every meal enjoying the view and weather. Not a question of if, but when we visit the big island again, we would stay at Kolea 10D in a heartbeat.

The condo is incredible! We had 6 people stay in the unit comfortably, with enough bedrooms, beds, and bathrooms for everyone. The condo is spacious, and there are places to come together as a group and to have time alone. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking at the view of the mountains. The unit is very quiet and peaceful.The location is awesome! It's right across the street from the pool, hot tub, and exercise facility. The beach and "A-Bay" are a short walk beyond the pool. We also walked to the Kings Shops and the petroglyph preserve. Everything was so convenient.We encountered a few issues when we arrived. We called the office, but it was closed for the day, so we were worried about responsiveness. We left messages via the VRBO platform, and were pleasantly surprised when the team responded within minutes. They worked hard to resolve the issues as quickly as possible, even though it was "after hours" for them and their contractors. We really appreciated everyone's sense of urgency and dedication. We were told that this was the first time that these issues had happened. The team was gracious to compensate us for the inconvenience.On our departure date, I went on an errand and lost one of the keys somehow. I'd never done that before, and I asked to be charged for the replacement. The team was gracious to waive the charge, even though I expected to be accountable for my mistake.
Phenomenal property, location, owners, all of it. We had two families staying in the unit. Plenty of room. We cook most meals and the kitchen had everything we need. Being across from the pool with a huge lanai and grassy area was an added bonus. Would stay here again and again.
Wonderful rental. We rented two units at kolea for an extended family reunion. The owners were easy to communicate with and the unit was comfortable and clean. Well stocked with beach gear, cooler etc.
A beautiful place, immediately across from the pool and beach access, with everything you could need for a hassle free vacation. Host is super responsive.
For 5 adults and a 10 year old, this condo is terrific. Close to the pool, big lanai, well stocked. Good landlords. It is a do again
We had a beautiful stay at this rental. The owners communication was great. We appreciated the little things like ketchup, outdoor grill, playing cards, dishwasher detergent, beach umbrella, chairs. I put my head down and fell asleep in seconds each night. The beds are very comfortable. The location across from the pool was Perfect for an early swim. They also have coffee at the club house :) my only suggestion is to get a full length mirror so I can see my shoes with my outfit. We will definitely be back. Did I mention the pool is the perfect warm temperature? And it’s right next to A Bay?! Amazing rental.
Extremely close to the pool and beach access which was our number one priority. Ground level so had access to the grass adjacent to the lanai which the kids would run around and play on. Excellent experience overall and would recommend to anyone, especially families who love swimming!
Large and comfortable property directly across from the pool and beach! Condo was well stocked with beach chairs and towels. We had an issue with the refrigerator, but the property managers were on it right away. (This was the best property mgmt. company I have ever seen — always promptly responded to communications and followed up.). WouldRecommend.
This was our second time staying in Kolea. This neighborhood is absolutely wonderful. The pool is lovely, warm, friendly, and calm. Easy access to the ocean for sunsets and swimming. This particular unit is on the ground floor and directly across from the pool. We were two families with three children and the living set up was great. Being right near the pool was also very nice with young kids. The kitchen was well appointed with what we needed to cook and clean. The hosts were very responsive and allowed us an early check-in.
The only downsides (to us) included 1) the bedding (polyester/synthetic sheets/comforters) and 2) cleanliness. The unit was generally clean but could use a solid deep clean and some basic maintenance (air vents, lots of dust bunnies when furniture was moved and the floors turned our feet black).
But overall, this unit is in a great location and was true to the listing. The hosts are communicative and responsive and got back to any of our questions within an hour or less. And Kolea itself is just the best.
We had a wonderful week at the condo. The location close to the beach club and beach was great with the kids, literally just a quick stroll over the road from the verandah.
Waikoloa Beach Resort also offers some great shopping and cafe’s. The check in process and communication was great! We will be back!!
The condo exceeded our expectations. Plenty of space both inside and out for our family. It is right across from the community pool and beach access. The large lanai is great for lounging, opens up to the grass area, and has a BBQ. Condo was very clean, check-in was easy, and the property manager was very attentive to questions we had.

Terrific condo with comfortable furnishings and right near the pool on the ground floor. 60 seconds to swimming! Great location! Kitchen extremely well equipped. Property managers easy to work with and communicative. Bedding could be improved a bit for a luxury property like this, is my only small critique, but that didn’t detract. Would rent again!
We have stayed in Kolea a dozen times and this condo had one of the most convenient locations! Plus the 3 bedroom layout was perfect for a family of 5! Couple of downsides, the floor in the unit was very dirty upon checkin (kids white socks were black in no time). Plus the twin beds were left with out comforters or top blankets. The rental host was quick to respond and sent out two blankets for the kids, which was incredibly nice.
The condo is lovely and was great for our 5 adults and on 9 year old. Lots of room, well appointed and with hosts who responded quickly on the one small missing item. We look forward to staying here again.
The condo is well kept, comfortable and provides all that you need (even beach chairs, cooler, boogie board). The location is perfect!! Right across from the pool and then just a very short walk from the pool to the beach. The pool area is nicely maintained. There are lounge chairs on the beach too. Also walking distance to the King & Queen shops and dining, as well as dining next door at the Marriott Waikoloa Resort and walk the beach to Lava, Lava with nightly live music. We are definitely going to rent again & bring our teenagers!
