Our family and friends had a great time! Staff were awesome! Property was great! Really liked being able to use the other property pools!
The photos of the rooms overrated. The size of the rooms are inaccurate. Although the description says possibility of ocean view, there is not a chance of that as the reservation is booked as island view, and the host doesn’t tell you that. Service at the front desk is terrible. Linens are worn. This property has no business being under the Marriott umbrella .
Had all the family there for anniversary and 3 birthdays
Such a great place to stay. The hotel had many great features for our family to enjoy. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The best part, we were able to see whales from the lanai. Would stay here again and recommend it for families!
The resort was lovely and the rooms were very nice however I feel like the owner is misleading in his listing. I know he does not guarantee any specific view, but upon arriving I asked if it was possible that we get an ocean view and she kind of laughed and said that we cannot hop to a different room level. We got to our room and were staring at the horseshoe driveway at the entrance of the resort with people busy coming and going, as well as in view of the highway.....also, note that the balcony was right above the smoking area. My husband went back to the front desk to speak with someone and was told that the owner booked us this specific room. While I know we were not guaranteed anything specific, the woman at the desk implied that there was never a chance in us getting another room because this was exactly the room that was requested by the owner. We could hear the highway the entire trip so there was no sleeping with the doors open to the sounds of the ocean. That aside, we had a fantastic vacation, the rooms were spacious, and the resort was beautiful. There is no daily room cleaning unless you want to pay additional for it, but they did come to refresh the room every 3-4 days. The pools were very nice and the beach right behind the resort was the best place for snorkeling. The restaurant on our side of the resort was not the best (just ok food, mediocre drinks, poor service, and high prices) but there are lots of great places around to eat. They also have a shuttle to Whalers Wharf and downtown Lahaina.....and Ubers are easy to get. Rentals at the resort were crazy expensive, but we found a place about a mile down the road called The Snorkel Store which had excellent prices for renting boogie boards (and snorkel gear but we had brought our own). We stopped at Walmart on our first day to do food shopping and bought beach chairs there which were cheaper than a one-day rental at the resort. There is also a Costco on the island if you have a membership there. So although the room location did not ruin our trip, I would just like to tell potential families that if you are ok with a view/sound of the highway then you wont have an issue, but if you want to be guaranteed anything above that, rent elsewhere.
Communication with Bob, the property manager, was pretty much non-existent. I didn’t really know if we had a place, and I reached out to him several times, but no response until a couple of days before arrival.

Our group enjoyed our stay here but would have loved to have it more of a condo where there were things like salt& pepper, extra laundry soap, containers for food use, aluminum foil, parchment paper, extra spices ect just things that other condos we have stayed in that make it easier for families. It was hard to cook in the kitchen provided when nothing like this was in the condo. This was more of a "hotel stay" and if you needed anything "extra" you had to buy it yourself. We won't stay here again but enjoyed our time here.
Lovely property… the Restaurant located on the property is great for breakfast and lunch not much of a selection for dinner…the full kitchen a must when traveling with grown adult sons that love to eat. Many barbecues around the property to use for dinners in… Close to Lahaina and whalers village for shopping and restaurants
I would Definitely recommend this property and I would stay there again…

Clean, great space & amenities for a family of six. All the staff are kind & welcoming & easy to get around using the shuttle.

The family had tons of fun here! The kids loved the pool slide and running back and forth to the beach which was also one of the best places we snorkeled.
Thanks for your wonderful property we had a blast and a great stay. We would definitely come back to visit again.

This condo was as advertised, and I appreciated the owner’s thorough comments in the posting. First the good: it was a nice unit inside, plenty of space, updated interior. The pool area was pretty and though crowded every day, we generally managed to find a spot to sit when we wanted. One of the best things was the awesome snorkeling right off the beach in front—we saw all kinds of fish and turtles too. On the downside, we knew there was a chance we wouldn’t get a nice view, and we definitely didn’t. We looked out over a parking lot, with the highway maybe 50-100 yards away. You could hear the cars going by, even with the windows shut. Having had an ocean view elsewhere before, I probably would not book a place again where I couldn’t guarantee a nice outdoor spot for breakfast or a cocktail.

We rented two 2-bedroom lock-offs and couldn’t have had a better experience. All communication leading up to the trip was fantastic and the description was 100% accurate. The property is in an amazing location…close to many shops, restaurants, and activities, and the trolley and shuttle both provide free transportation to many places! The resort was immaculately clean and the beds were the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on. We would happily rent from Bob again!
Everything was fabulous - clean, scenic, comfortable! Only criticism - all pool chairs were taken by 9:00am, our property overlooked the parking lot and highway so it was a bit noisy on the lanai, and there was lots of confusion with the property manager shortly after booking. We received several messages from VRBO that our dates changed. He said to ignore them since they reflected other properties (still confusing). Also the reservation number didn’t match the one at the front desk, but they were able to resolve it. Otherwise would stay here again.
This property was truly paradise! Gorgeous grounds, great swimming options for the kids, so much space, and fantastic ability to cook and not have to eat out every meal. The beach was right there with gentle waves and easy snorkeling. Parking and access was so simple, check in was a breeze! We would go back here 100%
We went to Maui thinking that we had a chance of getting an ocean view room. It was not clear to me when booking that this was an island view room as I was later told by one of the Westin employees. The reservation confirmation mentioned the room would be assigned upon arrival. After visiting with the front desk about the possibility of a oven view room multiples times we were able to move rooms half way through our stay.
The resort was great - very clean, friendly/helpful staff, great pool and fantastic snorkeling at the beach. Note because of the coral you will want water shoes and this is not somewhere that you will want to boogie board or jump around.
My husband and I brought our 6 kids (5-15yrs) to the Westin and loved it! Bob is great to work with and the condo is awesome! We loved the adjoining rooms and having a kitchen! Saves lots of money to be able to cook some meals and have an easy bowl of cereal when the kids need a snack. Mahalo!
Stayed right next to the pirate pool. My daughter became either a fish or a mermaid with all of the time we spent there. :-)
Everything worked out just as the property description claimed.. We went right up to the front desk, checked in a bit early into a two room connected suite. You get the first 24 hours of valet parking for free. I recommend researching all of the property service amenities before you arrive. There are a couple of different shuttles that take you to nearby other hotels or shopping areas all day on a regular schedule. There is a free luau presentation on saturday late afternoon right on the property that was really good.. The pool, hot tubs, and waterslide were a hit for our family. The snorkeling is really good if the water is calm right outside the hotel.. we rented a car to travel around maui but realized that with all that this property has to offer, especially with the free shuttle service, a car isn't necessary.. We just had a great time, the rooms were comfortable (we had three adults and three kids), and would definitely rent again.. We flew into OGG Kahului airport and it cost $90 in a minivan taxi to get to the Westin villas. A shuttle costs $16 per person. We had six in our party so we figured it was worth the taxi cost so we didn't have to wait or drop anyone else off at other properties along the way. There is an enterprise within walking distance (1/4 mile?) from the Westin that will pick you up too, if you wanted to rent a car just for the day from the hotel. Ubers are pretty pricey as are taxis for small trips.. better off using the free shuttle. Another fun thing to do was shuttle to the Sheraton which is just south of the Westin villas and snorkel and jump off black rock. We also went to Kapalua by 9am for free public parking and saw a few sea turtles.. We had multiple whale sightings off of various beaches as it was whale season (our trip was Feb 7-11).
Robert was great to deal with and the process went smooth from beginning to end. We went with low expectations for the room and view, but were happily surprised with a nice large room with an amazing ocean view. I would definitely recommend booking through VRBO and Robert instead of booking through the hotel directly. We extended our trip and booked a couple of additional nights directly through the hotel, and the room was not nearly as nice as this one and was on the ground floor facing the parking lot (island view).
This is one of my new favorite places to stay in, we had a wonderful stay here! The resort itself was very clean and the people were very friendly. So many things to do at the resort and places to eat. We loved having the 2 bedroom lockout rooms, and our ocean view was amazing. It was so nice to sit on the lanai in the mornings drinking coffee or watching the sunset with a cocktail. We were spoiled with such a great view. Robert was easy to work with and renting the condo was very straightforward. We hope to go again next year.
We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful resort and room Working with Robert was great. He was responsive to any questions in a timely manner. I would definitely book again here through Robert. We were extremely happy when we entered our unit and it was ocean front. The unit was large enough for 8 of us. Everything that was described on the site was on the mark.
