The location of this property was amazing. Enjoyed the vibe of the locals and watching the sunset with the residents and other guests. The condo was small, the furniture was dated and uncomfortable. When we got there, someone was working on the air conditioner in the condo, and it was unbearably hot from being closed up and the air conditioner did not work after being repaired. The owner made concessions, and after the property being opened up for a day, it was much better. Loved the property and the location. Super convenient and close to everything. Really enjoyed our stay, and would stay here again. Thank you for sharing your condo with us.
Had a great stay! Keawakapu is our favorite beach in Maui and it’s about a 2-3 minute walk to get there! The bed was comfy, kitchen was SO well stocked, and there were plenty of beach towels for use. Was super easy to check out beach chairs for the week downstairs w the office. Used the bbq once (it was pretty packed each night), saw whales from the balcony a few times! Hosts were communicative and so accommodating! My only wish was that there was AC in the entire unit. The bedroom AC works great, but the main area can get a bit stuffy if all the windows and doors aren’t open. This was a great stay and for the price, we’d book again.

We booked this condo with the anticipation we’d be using this as a home base after activities and excursions around Wailea We ended up spending much more time laying on the green lawn, playing cards on the patio, and watching the sea turtles on the beach boarding the property. Could not have asked for better accommodations and host! Steve and Connie were extremely communicative and accommodating when our travel plans changed. We will be coming back!
This was our second stay at this condo. The location is great for walking the nearby beaches and for getting to all of the fun and exciting adventures on the island. The condo is clean, comfortable and well-stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, especially watching the beautiful sunsets. Aloha
This was a perfect choice for our 3-week trip to Maui! Clean and well-kept with so many good points:Great ocean view, both from inside and from the balcony.Second-floor location: more private than ground floor, but only one flight up if you take the stairs. Modern kitchen has all the useful appliances and dining ware, and a convenient island. The bathroom has plenty of places to hang towels, washcloths, and swimsuits. Lots of beach and bath towels provided, even black makeup removal cloths. There were even a good pair of binoculars that we used for whale-watching, and a yoga mat! The bed is comfortable and the bedroom has a quiet air conditioner.The HD TV and Spectrum cable provide access to cable channels and streaming apps (using your own streaming app accounts).This condo is a very comfortable size for a couple. There’s a good pull-out sofa bed in the living room area, but someone sleeping there would not have air conditioning or much privacy, so maybe best for families with kids who wouldn’t mind this.The small but nice pool was never crowded when we were there. Lawn area has a 9-hole putting green, barbecue area, and chaise longue chairs. Pay laundry on-site, and across the parking lot is a well-stocked convenience store. It’s just steps from a good snorkeling and swimming beach to the south, and a boat ramp from which snorkel and whale tours leave to the north. Last but not least, the owners, Connie and Steve, are awesome and responsive.
We stayed at the Kihei Surfside for 8 nights. Everything was great. From quick responsive communication to a nice clean well equipped condo. We’ve stayed at the Kihei Surfside before because we like the location with the grassy park and the easy access to the beach. It’s always very quiet. It won’t be our last time staying at the Surfside. thanks for providing a wonderful stay.

Amazing ocean views and great location! Kihei Surfside is just steps away from Keawakapu, a beautiful white sand beach with fantastic snorkeling. The unit is clean and well-equipped. Steve and Connie are lovely hosts. We look forward to returning soon!

We've stayed at this property 4 times because we love the location of the condo itself and the surrounding area... mile long beautiful beach and the great snorkeling. I saw at least one turtle every time I snorkeled. The Kihei Surfiside is quiet, beautiful grassy area, and a wonderful view of the sunsets. The owners are responsive to questions and strive to make the stay as pleasant as possible. I highly recommend this property and will stay there every time I'm in Maui.
My wife and I stayed here for our first visit to Hawai’i and it was absolutely perfect. The views are just as advertised, if not better. The unit was clean, tidy and well organized. Everything needed to cook was included which made it great to save some dining out costs by making breakfast for ourselves while enjoying some coffee on the balcony. At night the sunset over the park is amazing, lounge chairs are provided and you can bring down a glass of wine and just relax. Walking access to long trails stretching both north and south made for a perfect way to start the day as well. Would absolutely recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed our stay! There was a beautiful welcome basket that helped set the tone for our vacation. We loved the location right on the ocean with beautiful views of the sunset and migrating whales. We loved that we could walk to so many places for a bite to eat. Several of the beaches are walking distance as well. The condo was very clean and just as advertised. Check it out. You won’t be disappointed!
Your place was wonderful. The location was great and allowed for perfect sunset views. Walking distance to the Kihei boat launch for tours and access to the walking trail along the coast down to the park. Many mornings were spent just watching the whales from the balcony. We greatly enjoyed how well stocked the unit was and being able to use the building laundry. Thank you for the welcome bag; it added a special touch. It was a wonderful 1st trip to Maui and we hope to return again. Mahalo.
Had a great vacation and this spot was central to everything I was looking for! The pool was always clean, lawn area looked after, room was well maintained, and hosts were on top of their communication.
We loved the location and property manager most helpful. Building undergoing Reno but quiet for us in day. The view from balcony is fantastic. The unit well equipped small kitchen.
So nice even if the building is dated. Slight mold smell every so often from being un occupied. Nice cabinets. Amazing towels. Needs AC as a back up.
Beautiful property, clean comfortable condo, stunning view. Burrowed yard games from the office which was fun and convenient and enjoyed delicious food and drinks just a walk away at 5 palms. Was a great stay
Very close to the beach, which was great. The unit itself was not clean, nor were the property grounds. There was trash in stairwells, that never got picked up. Also blood in the main hallways, which my son stepped in on the way to the pool. Bathmat had sand from previous visitors Also shower had used bar of soap, from previous visitors, GROSS!
