Maui (and Hawaii) is expensive. When you pay a lot, you may be expecting luxury. In reality, what you get is a pretty average apartment in a complex. The pictures always make it look softer and nicer than it is. This place is on the first floor (the pictures make it look like it is on the second floor), and it is fairly dark inside. It is also in front of the pool, which is a bit noisy. The area (Kehei) is very touristy, like Maui generally. The beaches are across the street, but not white sand with clear water...they are rocky and murky. I don't discourage you from renting here (it is comfortable and clean), just setting expectations. In Hawaii, the price you pay is always higher than the quality you may think you are getting. If you spend most of your time touring and seeing the sights, then this place is perfect!
This property was the perfect place for our little family it was clean and spacious had almost everything we needed. Being able to cook meals made the vacation less expensive which is always a plus and we were able to go out and make memories
Overall, the condo was great! Location was excellent, parking space was close to unit and it had beach chairs, coolers and plenty of amenities. The only issues we had were the bed pillows were not comfortable and unfortunately they were all the same. It would have been better to have different sizes and thicknesses of the pillows. We had to buy one for our stay, and we left it there. Also, the tv is not even a smarttv. Need to update that. Othetwise thank you for the condo.
