good for a couple, road noise can be a problem
Happy with the accommodations and will recomend staying there.
Unfortunately the managers/owners are not local. We were told not to come early because we would not be able to check-in until 4:00pm but that we would need to fill out some paperwork to get a parking pass before the office closed at 5:00pm. According to the owners, we would be sent a door code between 3:30 and 4:00. We arrived just after 4:00 but no code was sent. We called both of the telephone numbers the owners sent us (in case of an emergency) but there was no answer at either number. We left several messages. After two hours of calling and waiting, we got a call back from someone who told us they weren’t an owner or a manager but that they had a number we could try to get in with. We later got an apology from the owners (apparently they were out of cell phone range and couldn’t send the code or get our calls?) They offered late checkout as if that somehow made up for not being able to get into the place as contracted. Don’t get me wrong, the apartment was nice and the bed in particular was really comfortable but there is nothing worse than paying a lot of money to a stranger and not having that stranger follow through on their part. There are a few other issues future renters need to be aware of. There was a note on the washer/dryer saying absolutely no swimsuits, beach towels, shorts with pockets, etc could be washed in their appliance. They should make that clear on the rental description/agreement because we personally never would have rented a place where we couldn’t wash our beach stuff, especially when you are paying top dollar for a beach vacation. Supposedly the apartment complex had a laundry room somewhere in the complex but we just took our clothes home dirty. Also there were ants. We have spent over 30 nights in the Hawaiian Islands in the last 2 years and this was our first experience with ants. Again I think it mostly comes down to no local management.
This condo was amazing and exceeded expectations. Pictures truly do not do it justice. Everything—the communication, the close parking to your ground floor condo, the kitchen, the living room, the shower, the location, and the bed—it was all stellar! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
The unit was clean and comfortable. No problems. The kitchen and bathroom was fully stocked of items that we needed. Only issue that there was no measuring cups for measuring spoons.
What a great place to stay in Kehei! Very close to the beach, walkable to stores and food, and a perfect place to hang out and rest after long days of adventure! The condo was very comfortable, clean, and we loved hanging out on the lanai. Communication was always quick. Would love to come back!
Great people to work with the condo was very clean, kitchen well equipped… would stay again in a heart beat.
Overall we give it a 4 star. The only problem we have is the bed, it is to hard. Like sleeping on the floor. Otherwise everything else is perfect.
This was a great property and best of all had everything we needed already stocked for us, including beach gear! Would love to come back here in the future.
The condo at the Kihei resort was amazingly clean and comfortable. They had more amenities than listed; beach chairs, beach towels, beach bag, coffee, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Not to mention everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. The unit was more spacious than expected and the AC worked really well to keep it at a comfortable temperature. The bedding and bed was clean and comfortable and the television had a plethora of channels. Overall the condo was a plus on our trip to Maui! Thank you and I look forward to staying again!
