We have stayed at the Hale Kamaole before and we love the location. This unit was a bit dated and carpets were dirty. We were sent the wrong door code, so we were not able to get in when we arrived late at night. Because we are not from the US, we had to make a long distance call to ask for the correct code. We were able to get in, but then we were sent the code by text but it was sent as an image instead of just the number so we had to pay to download that as well. On our last day there was a planned water was shut off on the property. Other than those issues, we enjoyed our stay.

Condo is in need of update and deep clean. We had family in other units near by and all were much nicer...we hung out at their units. As examples of need for deep clean, we wiped down kitchen areas and wipes were very dirty (counters, cabinets, light switches), top of fridge had not been cleaned, loft railing was completely dirty, edges of carpet has not been cleaned and ceiling in main bedroom has accumulated years of dust it appears. Cabinets and furniture and items for use are all very worn. Based on condition it merely functioned as a place to sleep and shower.

We brought our adult children and grandchildren (ages 2 to 10) to Hale Kamaole once again. Ideal location and family friendly vibe is what keeps us coming back! Across from iconic Kamaole 3 beach and walking distance to restaurants, Hale Kamaole is a great way to spend time with friends & family!

L'endroit est bien situé, près de la plage, des services, restaurants, etc... A peu pres 30 minutes en auto de l'aeroport. Appartement spacieux et propre , avec tout le necessaire. Personnel sur place proactif et sympathique. Bon rapport qualité prix.
Older condo but nice. Easy access. Beach across the street. Watched beautiful sunsets. Would book again.

Great location with view of whale watching/ocean from balcony. Beds very comfy (brand new twin beds). Clean & tidy, good kitchen set-up with great big, easy to use cupboard over island.Beach umbrella could use an update to "screw-in" and main door was really hard to close/lock. Suggest either changing internal locking door knobs or providing keys for current knobs (our 2 year old locked himself in the bathroom and maintenance had to jimmy the door open, thankfully no harm done.)
Close to beach. Air conditioning only in bedrooms. No fans.
