We enjoyed our 2nd stay in this condo very much! The view from the balcony is amazing (my favorite spot for coffee in the morning). The walk to the beach was not too far and helped us get our steps in for the week. Our communication with Susan and the management company was nice and easy! We will definitely be back!
This is our second time to stay in this great property! The views are fantastic. It’s so nice to have very efficient air-conditioning as well since you’re on the top floor. It has an elevator, but we enjoyed taking the six flights of steps for part of our exercise it’s well equipped with wonderful beach, chairs, umbrellas, even extra snorkels and masks, and a boogie board. We will be back!

My sister and I had a wonderful stay in this lovely condo at Kihei Akaki. The condo has everything to offer besides having an amazing view and being across from our favourite beach on Maui. We visited many other places on Maui-beaches, especially as so many are nearby. We are looking forward to our return in 2025. Our negative was on arrival with 3 trips to the office to phone Maui Condo and Home as it took 3 door codes to get one that worked..

We enjoyed the comfort, convenience and beauty that this condo had to offer. The view in the morning from the lanai was lovely! We would certainly stay there again if we were to return in the near future.
Great views from the lanai (much better than pictured!). Condo had ample room for 2 adults, 2 kids. We were grateful for the a/c as the afternoons were toasty. Big plus was being able to use beach chairs, umbrella, cooler as purchasing or renting those items would be another cost. Walking distance to good food and souvenir shops. We enjoyed the beaches nearby and quietness at night. The grounds crew was impressive, always cleaning the property. We felt safe and well cared for. Sue is great to work with! A lovely spot - would visit again!
This suite in Kihei Akahi complex is absolutely fantastic. The expansive view from the sixth floor is beautiful, the layout and size accommodates a good size group (we were for adults and lots of space), the pools and grills are close and well maintained, the proximity to the beach and to nearby shops and restaurants is ideal, and there are all the kitchen utensils and equipment that you will need for great stay. Our only issue was with the quality of the beds. The twins were air mattresses that members of our group found uncomfortable, and the king in the main bedroom is worn out. Given the almost perfection for the rest of this unit, it would seem from our point of view that an upgrade of beds would put the icing on the cake.
My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The unit was clean and had everything we needed, and you can't beat the location and view from the lanai.
My family of four stayed at this condo for a week in July 2024. It was a wonderful stay. Checking in was very easy at the management office on site. The condo was very clean upon arrival and well equipped. The view of the ocean from the lanai was spectacular. There are two elevators which made it easy to get bags up to the 6th floor. Even though it was in the low 80's every day, we never needed the A/C as opening the lanai sliding door and the screened front door allowed for lots of airflow. With the windows open at night, the morning temp in the condo was nice and cool. There are lots of beach toys including chairs, umbrella, cooler, snorkel gear and sand toys. We never used either pool but they looked nice. The beach is a short walk down the complex driveway (there is a sidewalk) and across Kihei Dr where there is a crosswalk right at the complex entrance. The beach across the street is very big and has a lifeguard on duty. It never seemed crowded. The water was typically calmer in the morning with waves picking up in the afternoon. There are lots of restaurant and sweet treat options within a 10 minute walk for days you don't want to get in the car, but there are many other options within a short drive. There is a great little ice cream shop right around the corner from the condo complex called 808 Sugar Hi - we went 3 times. Overall, this was a great stay and we would definitely stay here again without hesitation.
We had the best week at this beautiful property! Loved the area. The condo complex was nice and quiet. The view off the balcony was incredible! The condo was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We’d definitely love to stay here again!
Located 2 minutes “walking” from Kameole beach II. Top floor corner unit with amazing views of the ocean. Everything you could need for the beech was provided. Perfect 2bd/2bth for the 4 of us. Would highly recommend staying in this unit if you are looking in the Kihei area. Thank you Susan!
My family spent over a week in this condo. It is located next to one of the best beaches in Maui, Kam 2. The condo was very clean, well kept and was advertised accurately. This will be my go to place in Maui going forward.
Excellent location and view from the lanai.
We can’t say enough about this unit and it’s location. Had the perfect vacation with another couple. The kitchen was well outfitted even with a rice cooker. We barbecued down by the pool for a couple evenings to dine -in on the wonderful lanai with views of the water and marvelous sunsets!!
The condo was outfitted with all of the beach toys needed even a small backpack and soft sided cooler which really helped us get our gear to the beach for full enjoyment. Five stars!!

Sue and Bill's condo is beautiful, spacious, clean and well stocked. It is at a very convenient location right across from the beach and close to restaurants and other amenities. Kihei Akahi is a well maintained property and our kids loved playing at the pool every day. But most of all I enjoyed the spectacular ocean views from the condo! Just amazing to watch sunrise and sunset. Sue had excellent, prompt communication, and the property management was very helpful as well. Thank you from our family for a lovely vacation in Maui!
We had a wonderful stay at Kihei. Sue was an outstanding host. We have stayed at Kihei Akahi several times over the years and just loved this unit and the view. We enjoyed our daily breakfast and dinner on the Lanai enjoying the whales, sunset and the ocean. The condo offered everything with a fully stocked kitchen, everything you need for the beach and the beds were comfy. i highly recommend this unit. Mahalo
