Overall the condo was clean and had sufficientSpace. My disappointment was the beachfront and the fact that there was construction due to the storm in early February.
We stayed for a week and had a lovely time. Highly recommend for family with kiddos. They were in the pool constantly and it was perfect.
We had a great time even though we were there during the flood of 2025.
We have rented several times in Maui. Location is awesome, right across from a great beach area with few people. Convenient location to all directions of the island. Check in easy and timelyManager was quick to reply to my question prior to trip.Pool is small but cute. Great because it was very private with few people. Wonderful if you have small children.The condo is a nice size for us , 4 adults.Not our first time we understand that lizards and other small friends can be normal so that was not an issue for us. Sadly the condo cleaning was not great. Floors , counters, bathrooms seemed to have a quick trash dump and move on.Furniture was not kept clean, and looked old.Be aware the stairs are very dark, watch your steps.We did absolutely love being in a smaller unit than the brick multi unit buildings. This could be an amazing space with a little love.
The walls had a lot of stuff marks. The toilet had been cleaned on the outside, but maybe not on the inside. Bedding is poor quality and I'm not sure the last time the coverlet/blanket was washed. The beds were also not comfortable. All that said, we would stay here again. It was a good size for two couples with a quiet pool and a nice beach right across the street. South Kihei road is busy, but the condo is not right in main Kihei so there is no noise to keep you up at night, and it is very easy to get anywhere. The host was very easy to talk to. She was friendly and prompt. It would have been nice if she provided a lot of things included in the condo, but I knew enough from other reviews that I didn't bother asking. There was a small propane tank but no grill. There are four beach chairs and one boogie board. There was also a small cooler and two flippers (one broken and no mask/snorkel). We left another pair of flippers. There were a few spices provided, and previous guests had left more spices, condiments, bread, eggs and bacon. That was appreciated since we got in very late and stores weren't open to get anything for the morning.

This is the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. The location was great for beaches and seeing the island. The condo was quiet and spacious. We loved that the host had snorkeling gear, a cooler, and beach towels (and an umbrella) to use while there. It didn’t have air conditioning, but the condo got a great breeze with the windows open, and we didn’t need AC. Although the pool is not heated, it was also warm and nice. Our kids spent at least an hour swim every day. The condo also had walking access to the beach. The sunsets were amazing. The kitchen was stocked with many appliances and spices, which made it easy to cook some meals at home. The beds were comfortable. I really only have positive things to say about this place! The hosts put a lot of thought into making sure it was stocked with everything you could need, and we really felt like we were at home there. It looks like it’s been recently renovated with nice flooring and updated countertops in the kitchen. It was helpful to have drying racks and a washer/ dryer there. I highly recommend this condo. If we take another trip to The Big Island, I would absolutely want to stay here again!!
Poor internet connection,beddings and bath towels.are likely not hygienic..to sump up not totally bad.very quiet the location..still we enjoy during our stayed.
