Well stocked, comfortable & clean.
We enjoyed our stay in this condo with living room and porch outside in first floor. Very convenience location. Parking in front of the apartment. Pool, jacuzzi and bbq area. If I come back to Maui will look for same apartment
40th Anniversary. Walked S. Kihei rd several times. Dined at Nalu's South Kihei Grill twice. Anniversary dinner at Spago's at Four Seasons Resort Maui. And rented a motorcycle from EagleRider rental and took a trip into the south Maui Mountains.
Stayed for 7 days had a great time
We stayed here for a week and it was a convienent spot and easy to base out of. It was awesome having the condo on the bottom floor for bringing stuff in and out. The condo had everything we needed for the week, would stay here again !
My partner and I were able to see the whole island and had a great experience with the whole condo process: booking, checking in, and communication was all spot on. Only slightly negative experience was a very funky smell in the air conditioning at times that eventually went away. Would recommend this condo for anyone who wants a close proximity to all the best spots in Maui!
Stay was everything we hoped for. Easy checkin, Patti was quick to respond with any questions. We used the provided Beach chairs and cooler every day. Great location. Will come again!
We enjoyed our stay. Maui is always beautiful. I recommend getting rid of the metal spatulas. Tephlon pots and pans were scratched up. I don’t like cooking in them when they are scratched because of the chemicals that could be released. I also found having to wash the towels before we left bed inconvenient. I had to get up extra early to ensure that was done, taking away from my last beautiful morning walk on the beach. I believe the very flat pillows should be replaced and the linens upgraded.
Condo was very clean. The problems we encountered was due the severe rains we had. Mud was thick through out the parking lot. Cars stuck in mud and no one to help direct people where to park or navigate. Streets were flooded and full of mud. It was horrible. Like I said condo was great but we couldn’t do much due to the mess.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as the unit was very clean, quiet and close to the beach. We received great instructions for checking in and out and had zero problems. We were easily able to take 7-9 km walks on sandy beaches that provided a new vista at every turn. It is easy to get to and easy to access the rest of the island and is very close to fantastic restaurants and places to explore.The office and staff are very friendly and helpful and I thought they really appreciated our stay. Thanks so much for a wonderful week in paradise as I would highly recommend this location and hopefully will be able to return next year.

Nicely appointed ground floor flat near the beach and close to pickle ball courts. Very convenient and reasonably priced.
We enjoyed our stay at Patti’s condo. It is a modest accommodation and priced well for a couple on a budget. The condo overlooks the parking lot, so the views are not the most desirable. However, the beach is super close and we spent most of our time enjoying the sunshine. The furniture is dated and the bed was not the most comfy, but the place was clean and quiet.The kitchen was well stocked with the basics and there were beach towels/chairs. Make sure to bring soap and shampoo, these items were not provided. The condo is located in more of a residential area, so not many walkable restaurants and stores. Patti was very quick to respond and even accommodated our change of plans. We love Maui and would definitely stay here again.

Condo was very clean, everything is nice but older. Was a little disappointed they didn't provide shampoo, conditioner or soap in the bathtub/room. The condo is outside the parking lot but surprisingly quiet.

Our stay was everything we could have imagined and more! Patti was so helpful in any way she could be. She was so quick to respond to any questions we had. Patti made our stay even better she is a great host! The house was clean and stocked with so many things that made our stay even better and more convinient!
We arrived on a Saturday and check in went very smoothly. The condo was clean and well stocked with towels and extra bedding.
The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils you would need.
Overall a very pleasant experience.
We love staying in Kihei and Kauhale Makai is just perfect for us. This was our third time renting this unit! We love being so centrally located to the beaches and restaurants we enjoy. It’s wonderful that the unit has the basics of lawn chairs, a cooler, and beach towels as well as all of the basic kitchen needs and SOFT bedding and bath towels. The swimming pool and bbq area is super clean and well maintained. It’s a slice of home away from home and it is a JOY to reconnect with Patti when we are ready to visit again — she was willing to accommodate our special request to come a few days early which was super appreciated. Mahalo and we hope to come again soon!
The property was clean and well maintained. We were able to walk right over the dune and be on the water. The grounds were nicely kept and the pool was small but nice. Thank you for a lovely stay!
Condo was very clean, parking convenient to the unit and we were in 20 minutes of the majority of the places we went. Central A/C was strong in living areas, not so strong in the bedroom but the fan in the bedroom compensated for it.
Owner and property manager were responsive too.
Will stay here again next time we come to Maui.
The location of this condo was fantastic and quiet. Felt like being home rather than on vacation at a typical hotel. Loved being on the ground floor. Communication with the manager and others was easy and quick and very detailed information is given prior to the stay. Definitely somewhere I'd stay again when I get the chance to visit!

Beautiful home. Would definitely stay here again. Owners left chairs to use so that was extremely helpful when going to the beach! Location was perfect. Several plazas with restaurants and beaches about 5 minutes away.
Our stay was great, the location was perfect as it made everything easily accessible. We didn't spend too much time as we were out and about but it was quiet and peaceful. The patio and beach that was just steps away were great places to wind down and rest after a long day. It had everything we needed for our stay and more. We would stay here again.
Host was very good and made check in easy!
