Kihei Garden Estates is in a great location—close to shops, restaurants, and a beautiful sandy beach. The grounds are lush and well-maintained, and the complex was generally quiet aside from unexpected roofing construction during our stay, which brought noise, equipment, and a partial parking closure we hadn’t been warned about.The listing describes the unit as newly renovated, but the furniture and beds felt dated. The king bed was uncomfortably soft, the pillows were flat, and there was only one nightstand, so we had to use a kitchen stool on the other side. Upon arrival, the floors weren’t very clean, and we had to purchase facial tissues and addtional toilet paper for the length of our stay. Since we traveled with carry-on luggage only, we hoped to find basic toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap) left behind from prior guests, as we’ve experienced in other rentals. There weren’t any, so we stocked both bathrooms and left the supplies for future guests.The washer/dryer is not in the unit but in a shared facility, which wasn’t clearly stated. Posted pricing was 1.25 per load, but machines charged 1.50. The beach chairs were rusty and there weren’t enough for our group. We also frequently encountered unhoused individuals sleeping or loitering on the sidewalk near the complex entrance and beach, which made us less comfortable using the local area. With more accurate info and a few improvements, this could be a much better stay.
Love the area, quiet and close enough to everything. Short walk to grocery and restaurants.

My stay was an incredible experience. The condo was very clean and in a perfect location, everything needed was within walking distance including the beach sunset, the wild sea turtles and the majestic rainbows. We absolutely loved our stay in this Kihei Garden Estates condo. It had everything we needed, including some great essentials for our beach days. The location is absolutely perfect , close to beach , shops , restaurants!!
Great property and amenities, plus location. Very clean and relaxing. 3 adults, so 2 bedrooms was perfect. Nicely equipped kitchen. We had a wonderful time.

Property was as described and convenient to sites. Worked well for myself, my husband and my in-laws for about a week long trip. The apartment allowed for each couple to have their own space, and the proximity to the beach was great. Hosts were amazing, and responsive. Would definitely stay again.
