A wonderful home base in paradise. Clean, cute, well appointed and stocked. Filtered water pitcher very handy. Bed was very comfortable. Excellent location with both beaches and restaurants/shops close by.
Mavi Bay has been a treasure for my husband and I! May sent all the information before our trip making check-in incredibly easy and seamless. The condo itself is perfect. Newly renovated and absolutely adorable and comfortable, I want to live here! We had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom, and for long days at the beach. The kitchen was so well stocked, and the apartment so wonderful that we skipped eating out to stay home and cook multiple times. Bed was comfortable and A/C units worked perfectly. We loved eating and having coffee on the lanai listening to the waves crashing. True paradise. The location is ideal. Close enough to walk to the beach, restaurants, general stores, everything. Also 2 minute drive from Kihei Boat Launch which came in handy for snorkelling and scuba excursions. The grounds itself are well taken care of with amenities. We played pickleball, swam in the pool, etc. May is fast to respond and accommodating. She even left a cute little card for our honeymoon. Maui is spectacular and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. A really fair price for all the things you get and a perfect location. I would recommend this condo to all my closest family and friends. What a treat, Mahalo!
Thanks so much for a great stay! Everything was as described, and it looks even better than the pictures. The place was sparkling clean and comfortable. The whole unit was well stocked with everything you could need for a beach vacation or for life - from beach towels, chairs and umbrellas to a full kitchen you could live in. Getting to the beach was easy, it is directly across the street. It was walking distance to many restaurants and coffee shops, and there were even more restaurants a short drive away. Parking is included and close to the unit. Can't recommend this location enough, if we are lucky to return to Maui we will definitely return here!We splurged for the last few days of the trip and decided to stay at one of the resorts in Wailea at the end of the trip, and we had a better, more relaxing experience with a nicer, less crowded beach at this rental than at the resort.
Well appointed and clean condo with modern updates throughout. Quiet location on the top floor with elevator access. The owner, May, is generous in providing recommendations for local activities and dining. The bed is very comfortable; the kitchen well stocked with various coffee makers and plenty of dishware options. Gorgeous views of the manicured property from the living room and ocean views from the lanai. Very handy to have beach towels and chairs available. The beach chairs can be worn as backpacks. There are beach umbrellas and a small cooler, none of which I used but I was thankful they were available if needed.If you are planning on using the couch bed, be aware it is a thin mattress and may only be suitable for children. Two adults planned to sleep on the pull-out couch bed. Unfortunately, they found it to be too uncomfortable and ended up booking a hotel after their first night in this condo. The rest of the condo is superb, but after letting the owner know that the rest of my party had to book different accommodations for the remaining 6 nights of our stay due to the uncomfortable couch bed, I was still charged the extra fee for having additional people in my party. The owner replied by saying the couch bed is new, therefore, I get the impression they are not planning to mitigate this issue.
We stayed 5 nights in May 2025 & highly recommend! May was a great host & went out of her way to help (including assisting when we didn’t check the lock box, whoops!). The place is immaculately kept & has every kitchen amenity you could need. We recommend Costco for groceries if you have a membership vs the stores near the condo. We both found the bed comfortable and room dark. We followed instructions & turned ac off when we left; upon returning it would have the areas cool within 10 minutes. Having the washer/dyer was great & we also appreciated the beach gear (towels, umbrella, chairs, cooler). The back lanai was perfect to listen to the ocean and we liked the grills at the pool area. Our favorite food spots nearby were Fred’s Mexican & South Shore Tiki lounge (AMAZING pizza). A few things to note (nothing major): The parking spot itself did fit our rented SUV, however there are parallel spots that run along the back of the lot behind the car that were pretty much always full. This meant that if there were cars parked on either side of us it was nearly impossible to back out of the spot if we pulled in headfirst. We started backing in every time we returned to make sure we could get out but I would also recommend getting a smaller car to avoid the issue. Also, the beach across the street was not our favorite on the island. Probably fine if you have kids and/or want convenience but we felt it well worth driving to Makena Cove or up north to Napili (for snorkeling). A condo
The property is great! Location is fantastic - the beach is just across the street! May’s property is fantastic and she was great about communicating and getting us everything we needed! We would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Kihei!
We loved our stay here! May’s home is even nicer in person than the photos. The bed was especially comfortable. While we didn’t cook, I appreciated how well appointed the kitchen was. Having a dedicated parking spot close to the building entrance was great as well.
The condo was fantastic - beautifully decorated with all the comforts of home, king size bed & sofa bed were very comfortable, & location was walkable to shops & restaurants. We’d love to stay at this place again! Best place to eat is at the open market park with all the various food trucks.

On this spontaneous trip we made to Maui, we lucked out in booking this perfect condo! Super clean, stocked with necessities, very cute, comfortable bed and great location! We couldn’t have been happier with this place and our host, May!
I like that it is quiet and clean. You have a view of the ocean. The unit has everything like it is home. The host is accommodating and answers quickly to emails. If I go back to Maui, I hope to rent the same place if available. Close to Wailea for real good shopping, close to recommended restaurants.
Easily the cleanest vacation property we’ve ever stayed in, but the really impressive thing about this property is how well it was stocked with everything we needed. Usually you get just the basics for cooking, but we had multiple knife sets, drink skaker, salad spinner, storage containers for leftovers, Saran Wrap and foil, olive oil and over a dozen spices. You name it this kitchen had it. Of course there were also 4 nice beach chairs, umbrellas, a cooler and giant beach towels. The king bed has a pillow topper on it and is very comfortable. May was quick to respond to all our inquiries. Communication was excellent. Check-in and check-out were seamless. There really wasn’t anything we would change about this place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Our stay was excellent! The condo was beautiful, very clean, with great views of the ocean to watch the whales using the provided binoculars. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, making cooking meals easy and fun, which doesn’t always happen in a rental. Having the beach right across the street was so easy to get to and the provided beach chairs, umbrellas, and cooler made it easy to stay all day. May was great with communication and very accommodating. I would easily recommend staying here to anyone!

My fiancé and I had an amazing time staying at this property in Kihei! From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The condo was exactly as described—clean, spacious, and stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and we loved enjoying our breakfast on the lanai with its gorgeous views.The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach, great restaurants, and local shops. We especially appreciated the provided beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler, which made our beach days even more enjoyable. The property’s pools were also a nice bonus, offering a relaxing way to end the day.Communication with the host was seamless. They provided detailed instructions for check-in and were quick to respond to any questions we had.We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Maui. We can’t wait to come back!
We truly enjoyed our stay! The condo was comfortable and clean. The until it self was updated with nice decor and felt very high end. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and the location was perfect for our trip. We were able to see lot of the Maui sites as Kihei felt very centrally located for us. The beach was a quick across the street where we were able to spend the day and conveniently make it back to the condo to grab lunch. After a day of venturing around the island, we could make it back to catch the sunset from the beach which we did most evenings. The property manager was welcoming and very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this unit!
Awesome Condo & Wonderful Experience
The condo Mavi Bay was awesome! Clean, impressively decorated, while only a short drive to restaurants and shopping. The grounds were immaculate. This condo had everything we needed to feel the comforts of home while experiencing the fun of Maui. Great views from the ocean view balcony with relaxing breakfasts in the morning and stunning sunsets in the evening. We traveled with family so seeing the turtles on the beach nearby was a highlight for the kids. Communication with May, the host, was great from the time we booked right on through our visit. We wish we could have stayed here longer, but do plan to reserve this condo again the next time we come to Maui. Mahalo
The apartment looked as if it were straight out of a magazine! Every room was put together perfectly with stylish decorations. Everything was new and clean. The apartment has everything you need - a nice kitchen, separated bathroom, kitchen table and balcony. You are walking distance to everything; the beach, restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Finding and getting into the apartment was simple and you also receive a dedicated parking spot. This place is a steal! I will be booking it again.

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautifully renovated condo in Kihei, and it exceeded all my expectations. The condo itself is modern, spacious, and impeccably clean, with stunning views of the surrounding area. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed, making it a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. The kitchen was fully equipped. They even had a Nespresso machine as well as filter coffee. The host provided spices, tea, sugar splenda, salt and pepper, olive oil. Enough supplies to prepare our food. My fiance and I had a great time.
The pool and barbecue area are a fantastic bonus—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring or enjoying a sunset meal.
The location couldn’t be better, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and beautiful beaches just a short walk or drive away. It was so convenient to have everything nearby, yet the condo remains a peaceful retreat.
