Awesome location next to the beach and restaurants very clean had amenities for the beach such as cooler beach chairs umbrella very nice set up would book again.
I came to Maui for a short getaway. The condo was perfectly located to walk to the beach, coffee and restaurants. It was stocked with everything I needed for the beach.
Great stay, clean place, easy communication. Cant wait to stay there again.

I love Maui and this is a good location however the advertising for this unit is deceiving. It's noisy in the bedroom but a lot of condos are in Maui in my experience because of the louvered windows. Pretty sure the floors aren't "wood". We were told a couple of days before the trip that the TV in the living room and the microwave didn't work. We were told there was a replacement for the microwave but we didn't get it until several days into the trip and I had to ask the owner about it. The person just brought the microwave into the condo while we were out with no phone call or other attempts at coordination. I thought this was kind of strange. Half the closet is locked for the owners stuff which I totally understand but you don't get the entire closet as shown. In addition to the microwave, the light in the fridge didn't work so I'm not sure how new the appliances are. The sliding glass door (lever) locked us out while we had dinner cooking on the stove (luckily the neighbor was also on her Lanai and I was able to give her the 10 digit code because I had my phone with me. She said it had happened before to previous renters). There is no additional mattress topper for the sofa bed, just the base and a mattress. I can live without TV and none of this ruined the trip but it's all something to be aware of.
Great location. Comfortable unit with a great kitchen and beach supplies. Tv was not working and batteries were needed in many items within unit.
We have stayed at Kihei Akahi many times over the last 40 years and enjoy the close proximity of great beaches and a variety of stores easily within walking distance. The unit was comfortable with breeze that maintained a pleasant temperature. The kitchen was equipped with what we required to prepare and serve meals. Unfortunately the built-in microwave wasn’t working but we appreciate that a counter model was quickly supplied for our use. In addition, the TV in the living room didn’t work either. Someone came out and verified that it wasn’t user error. While watching TV was not a high priority for us (too many other things to do in paradise) it was annoying walking through Costco and seeing affordable TVs available that would have been suitable replacements. There is a small tv in the bedroom that functioned but sitting on a bed in a small room is not our style.
Aloha! There were many things that were great about this property. For us, at the top of that list is that we found that the location was fantastic. Being right across the street from Kamaole Park/Beach II was super handy. Sure there are better beaches on Maui, but we ended up spending most of our beach-time at Kamaole II. Decent snorkelling, not crowded, lifeguard on duty, great sand and gorgeous sunsets there. Only have a couple hours for the beach one day?. . . . it's only about 250 steps away. The condo itself provided very good value and the pictures don't really give you an idea of how roomy it actually was. It was very well stocked with everything in the kitchen. Beach chairs, great beach towels and a cooler were also very handy. Having the washer and dryer was a huge plus, as was the air conditioning. Having an assigned parking spot was very convenient as well. Took some exceptional pictures of the sunsets from the lanai. We found the bed to be very comfortable and we had excellent communication and information from the owner. Some decent restaurants close by and some great restaurants within a short drive. We'd definitely stay here again and look forward to doing so.
Great location! Clean.. good proximity to exploring the island and the beach in front is great for splashing around and the swimming pools at complex were great.
Have stayed in this complex before and always seek out a unit here when we come to Maui. Location is ideal to a great beach and walkable to a variety of restaurants/shops. Condo was as described and pictured. Very nice.
We have stayed at this condominium complex many times. This was the first time at this unit.
This condo is in an excellent location, right across the street from the beach and within easy walking and driving distance to restaurants, shopping, etc.
This unit has nothing wrong with it, it is clean and contains all you would need for your vacation on Maui, including a well furnished kitchen, excellent washer/dryer, beach chairs, umbrellas, some sizes of snorkeling gear, and some very old and worn beach towels....... but the condo could use some attention to make for a better stay.
Both the main bedroom and the sleeper sofa mattresses are extremely indented and very uncomfortable, even with the mattress topper you cannot get comfortable.
The A/C unit does not cool the condo, we were there in November, when the weather was not too hot and even then the A/C just works too hard to cool the place and never can quite get it even near cool in the back areas.
You can get an amazing cross breeze in the evenings with all windows open.
The shower looks attractive in the pictures but is not practical whatsoever. There is no shower door and the water just splashes all over the floor making a mess after each shower.
Bring your own toilet paper and paper towels. We were there for 10 nights and the 2 provided rolls just didn't cut it.
Again, nothing bad at all with this condo, just some things that could improve one's stay if these things are important to you.
