We enjoyed the peaceful area and the close walk to the beach/restaurants.
Neal and Joe’s peaceful condo was the perfect place for our family of three to stay in during our first trip to Hawaii (and to Maui, of course). We loved the location and the property was incredibly comfortable and had everything we needed. We went snorkeling a lot and also hiked in West Maui and went “up country” to see the rodeo as well and to Haleakala, and it was great to know we’d always get a good night’s sleep after a long and active day. The condo was very clean and we loved the shaded terrace as well - we had breakfast outside every day. The gardens around the condo are beautiful, it’s really an oasis. We hope to come back soon!
We have never stayed in a better supplied, better equipped condo. And Neal, the owner, provided lots of information and was quick to respond; not that we needed anything during our stay. The complex is very quiet and peaceful. This unit is close to both pools. Most of the time we swam in the pools by ourselves. This condo seems larger than the other Maui ones we have stayed in. It has a large kitchen counter my wife really loved. We did use the TV at night and it was bigger than most. We will stay here again if available when we are.
Our stay at Neal's condo was wonderful. We visit Kihei often, but this was our first time to the Kihei Akahi property and it is beautiful. Neal was great to communicate with and the check-in process was so easy and office staff friendly and helpful. The condo is as pictured and very comfortable. The walk to K-II beach is short as well all many restaurants in the area. We would definitely choose to stay here again.
Perfect , place and definitely best location . Everything you need a few steps away, beach restaurants and stores . A garden view and ocean view. Loved it and would definitely come back.
My wife and I stayed for 5 nights in November and it was perfect. A two minute walk to the beach, upgraded kitchen and bath, comfortable bed, two pools, quiet, clean, and had everything we needed (beach chairs, small cooler, towels, umbrella),

We had the pleasure of staying in this unit for about a week. The unit was well stocked and truly a home away from home! The property location is ideal for daily beach visits and Sunset views to Kamaole II beach.

Another excellent vacation at the Kihei Akahi.
The unit was everything as advertised. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed. The outdoor toys (lawn chairs, etc) were also more than we could have hoped for. It was a great home base for all of our adventures. We will definitely be back in the future to stay at your wonderful place again. From Mamas Fish House, Visits to Big Beach & Stargazing atop Haleakala, it was a most memorable birthday.

Great location and communication with the property owner!
Property was centrally located and convenient for all of our activities. It was easy to walk to beach, food, and shopping. Complex is a garden oasis with a guided botanical walk, and condo was well equipped. Lanai was a perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee.
Neal & Joe’s unit provided everything we needed for our stay and was very comfortable and homey. We couldn’t ask for a better location with just a short walk to the beach and good restaurants. Booking, check in, check out was a breeze and hassle free. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We’ll definitely be back….and next time for a longer stay.
Very nice property, host included some of the essentials you need, hand soap, auto dishwasher soap, small dish soap, starter qty paper towels, some spices for cooking. Enough so we didn’t panic when we first got there. Check in was efficient, condo was as expected, nicely decorated, sufficient space. The cross breeze was very good 5 out of seven days, the fan compensated for the other two days. Didn’t need AC. Wonderful balcony to enjoy listening to the birds and enjoying the lust greenery. Close to many restaurants and food stores, plus shops. Rent your vehicle from Kihei Rent a Car, great family business, great people and prices. Everything was wonderful would recommend and would stay here again.
Neal was great to work with! Prompt responses to all my questions. This condo couldn't be in a better location. Easily walk to bars, restaurants and the beach. As well as an ABC store for quickly needed grocery supplies. Best VRBO owner we have ever worked with!! Highly recommend.
My family and I spent a week at Neal’s condo and we had a great time! The place was a perfect home away from home. Neal being an excellent host was very attentive and always there to help. The place was well-equipped and had everything we needed. Location was perfect and there was a beautiful beach right across the street. Great value for money and highly recommended!!
Besides the well manicured grounds, the 2 swimming pools, tennis courts and friendly check-in service, we especially liked the close proximity to one of three beautiful beaches. We greatly appreciated the communication and overall concern for our pleasant stay from our landlord. We highly recommend this accommodation and will endeavor to book again in the future.
